  1. As I made clear in the OP, will pay a decent rate for the right person, that is the price range I was thinking about myself. Didn't get any recommendations yet 🙂
  2. You seem to be well informed about feces, and that maybe explains all your sh!t threads you been starting.
  3. Even a few hours late, because he was stuck in traffic, got Thanathorn banned. So why should this Thaksin puppet be let off the hook>
  4. Hell they should know when to stop intervening. Would now get 1 baht more for my US$ compared to what I got on Monday. Could live a few months from the difference
  5. Only difference with 1997 is that they were supporting the baht, while this time they are doing the opposite.
  6. Love to hear where you get 5% net without exchange rate risk. Anyway, I get in Thailand 2.25%, so that makes it only 2.75 difference anymore, and no exchange rate risk. If you look at USD or GBP, your 5% would already be a loss, if only looking at the exchange rate January till today
  7. They could have confirmed this a few days earlier. I gave up on my USD FCD on Monday, because every time I clicked on the XE page I would get less baht for my dollars. Turns out I exchanged at the worst rate of the year (32.11) because since then it only has got better, and the difference with today would have bought me a nice return business class ticket to Europe. BTW I was monitoring the USD/THB trading last night, and it was very obvious that someone was intervening as it was incredibly active.

    Cleaning lady

Looking for recommendations for a cleaning lady, which knows how to clean. Location is NongPlalai near the regents school. Frequency 1 full day every week or every 2 weeks. Pay decent rate for the right person. Only cleaning, no cooking or laundry required. Any recommendations, please post here or send PM
  9. The person in charge of the design and construction of Thepprasit road should be taken to court. What an utter disaster that road is from one end to the other.
  10. Why not use Chinese CCP stooge? He didn't say he had not enough energy for the house AND charging the EV. When the sun isn't strong you don't need aircon. Simple enough for you?
  11. If you look at how much land is undeveloped in Thailand, and the prices that are charged, then prices in Thailand are more ridiculous than in the West already.
  12. Walz suggested that illegals should be issued a driver license, which is proof for voting. Didn't know Walz was a republican
  13. Yet there was another poster in this thread claiming that the air in China now was less polluted because of the EV's. Here is the reality.
  14. So what is it? It doesn't produce enough energy to power the house, or it provides excess energy that you in addition to the house also can charge your EV's. Please make up your mind
  15. Yes indeed, the only difference is that NEW Chinese EV cars are on fire sale. So do you think that someone who buys a new EV at price X, and next year the same car cost new 20% less, that the second hand value of the 1 year old car is calculated on the price he paid 1 year ago, or the current new price?
  16. I would call it actually pretty sad if you think the info about second hand EV sales is only visible to EV owners
  17. Correct, but everyone can search the internet and see what is happening
  18. I know what I'm talking about. The number of BYD's doesn't change much on One2Car, or maybe you mean increase every day, because stock doesn't get sold, and you just mentioned the very reason for that. New is a better buy for the simple reason that there are more discounts every day, so second hand doesn't sell. If only you knew what you were talking about
  19. there are only 12 available for sale, that should tell you something! Yes, it tells me that the resale value is even worse, if you can't even sell 1 from a limited number available.
  20. Maybe try to read the fine print yourself.
  21. But they remain recalls. But they remain recalls, and they were certainly also not in the top 25 of most sold cars
  22. Car Recalls: Models With The Highest And Lowest Projected Recall Rate, Per New Study Among the findings was the unexpected prominence of electric vehicles at the top of the most recalled list, with six of the seven most recalled cars being EVs. This included all four Teslas, along with Porsche’s Taycan (in the number one spot) and the Lucid Air (in the fifth slot). https://www.forbes.com/sites/kbrauer/2024/07/11/car-recalls-models-with-the-highest-and-lowest-projected-recall-rate/
  23. While sales of electric cars are increasing globally, they remain significantly concentrated in just a few major markets. In 2023, just under 60% of new electric car registrations were in the People’s Republic of China (hereafter ‘China’), just under 25% in Europe,2 and 10% in the United States – corresponding to nearly 95% of global electric car sales combined. https://www.iea.org/reports/global-ev-outlook-2024/trends-in-electric-cars
