No its not opinion its fact.. there is no proof for your imaginary friend. He is as real as the living spaghetti monster in the sky.
Your are really a bit unstable, to bring that fantasy friend into the discussion when its not needed. It clearly shows someone without a backbone who needs guidance. People like that are the dangerous, just as religion is dangerous. Without religion the earth would be a much nicer place. So many wars fought for religion.. people burned the tolerance of people following your imaginary friend for others is real low.
Now just bring arguments to the discussion without going on and on about your fantasy friend. Also learn to use the quote button. it makes things a lot easier for others to follow.
I think i leave it at this religion is better not to be discussed as discussions are based on facts.. and there are no facts supporting your religion just beliefs. Besides this you might go crazy and burn me at the stake that is what your tolerant religion has done in the past with people who did not believe them.
Just get back to the topic of dogs.. that is far better that is its that we can base on facts.

Ah yeah ?
I see, you mean when they get older and stronger and greedy and jealous and feeling superiour to weaker ones, poor ones, different ones, when they were given cars, trucks, busses, arms, political power and what else ?
So sorry, I know it's about dogs...
Noisy uncontrolled things always making a mess, getting in the way, and trying to trip you up.
I much prefer dogs. -
Children are more dangerous than dogs

What makes a toilet handicapped? Does it have MS or perhaps Cerebal Palsy or even Downes Syndrome
I prefer the term Disabled which is now commonly used in the UK as the people that fall into this category are less able than the rest of us they most definitely are not handicapped
For the record my wife has cerebal palsy and she is not in anyway handicapped
Rant over!!!

Disability versus Handicap comparison chartDisabilityHandicapIntroduction (from Wikipedia)Disability is the consequence of an impairment that may be physical, cognitive, mental, sensory, emotional, developmental, or some combination of these. A disability may be present from birth, or occur during a person's lifetime.any physical or mental defect, congenital or acquired, preventing or restricting a person from participating in normal life or limiting their capacity to work. -
It's not that the rules vary, it's the people you deal with that don't know the rules.
It also depends if your IDP and licence covered the class of vehicle you were trying to get a Thai licence for.
True, they don't all know the rules in the provinces. Test is easy enough or if you are worried maybe apply in Pattaya where they are used to farang IDPs.

I would have said ''out" rather than "in"
If they only go in it becomes a prison camp. -
Electric fence all the way round. Allow movement in but not out.

Wife's aunts property is just to the rear of our bedroom and she keeps about half a dozen cows there. No smell but sometimes a bit of smoke from the anti-mozzie smudge fire. Rural life in Issan. Got to be better than choking on car fumes all day.

Under the Geneva convention licences in English are accepted as legal in Thailand.
If you don't hold a licence in English you will need a translation or an IDP.
In theory a licence in English is valid in Thailand for the duration of the licence.
In practice many Insurers will only provide cover for 3 months using a foreign licence which is why you should obtain a Thai licence to ensure you are fully covered in any eventuality.
If you hold a licence in English, or an IDP from a Country where the licence is not issued in English you only have to take the compulsory tests, which are colour blindness, reaction, peripheral vision and depth perception.
You are only required to take the full driving and theory course if you don't hold a foreign licence.
IDP's all have translations into English.
That's what I told the local office but still had to do the whole thing.
The practical is not exactly taxing. -
Did my test late last year. Local office still made me do ALL the tests even though I had UK licence with IDP.

Has the law changed recently?
From wiki:- "Thailand: 0 for professional or commercial drivers, 0.05% for all other drivers." (Same as Scotland, lower than England [.08]).
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Drunk_driving_law_by_country#Southeast_Asia
0.2% limit if you have had Thai licence for less than 5 years.
0.5% equivalent to about 2 small beers
-
Watch out if you have had your Thai licence for less than 5 years.
"Thailand’s legal blood-alcohol limit for drivers is 0.5 grams per liter of blood, and 0.2 grams for drivers who have possessed their license for less than five years."

You write some good stuff but why write nonsense like this
and discredit yourself?
There are LOADS of pictures of the GIs in Thailand in the 60s
in bars and elsewhere surrounded by LOADS of sexy girls...
And it sure did not look like the GIs were on any kind of
humanitarian mission..lol....
The GIs might not have started prostitution in Pattaya but their
presence was like dropping napalm on a small camp fire...
And that's the fact Jack...or Joe....lol
So who comes first the visitors or the sex workers?
-
Well according to 2016 stats, the Chinese, Russians and Thais made up 75% of visitors to Pattaya. How many of those are here for the sex trade.
Don't see a lot of them anywhere spending money though -
"Lies, damm lies and statistics is the old quote "
Even more so when the figures quoted in the statistics are wrong -
Never knew that. I was refering to the fact that Buriram is often looked down as a lesser place within the region not only by Thais but by some westerners as well when infact the city is actually booming at the moment.
A lot of building and a lot if investment in new roads throughout Issan

Never had a problem buying low dose aspirin from any pharmacy including Watson and Boots.
Why do you prefer Aspirin? Do you have a problem with paracetamol?
