Do check the specs of your existing RAM, confirm it supports both profiles Intel XMP and AMD EXPO. If it does not support AMD EXPO you may have issues with compatibility, speed.

After you see the cost of 32GB of DDR5 Ram you may have 2'nd thoughts. *you will not find a Ryzen 7-8700G CPU for much less, even here in the USA. I still suggest a discrete video card, they can do AV1 decoding. A PCI-E v3 card with 4~6GB of VRAM is what you need for now. Yes they can handle at least 2 vid outputs, some 3. Some of those can be powered from the slot, others have a molex connector for PSU. But do check your PSU to see if can handle the xtra watts. Best of luck -Howto

Yoy could upgrade your existing CPU, but The Core i7-4790 is only 20% perf increase, same IGPU. It's the only CPU option. However your issue is not the CPU, it's the IGPU. A discrete video card would fix that fast and is far cheaper than a new system. Get a low~midrange 3~4 year old nVidia card. I know you don't wanna, and I don't want to hear it, so save your breath. Ryzen 5 8000-G AND Ryzen 7 8700G are 'APU's, Has the Ryzen AI™, dedicated Ryzen AI Accelerator. It's a substantially worse cpu than the 5-7600,7-7700 5-8400F 7-8600G. Have same IGPU MUCH better than any Intel. Two Suggestions; AMD Ryzen 5 7600 6-Core is a "really good" CPU, and entirely comparable to the i5-14600K If you're on a budget, then 7600 is the way to go. AMD Ryzen 7 7700 8-Core Both 7600, 7700 have same IGPU MUCH better than any Intel. Are the extra 2 cores and 4 threads worth it? I personally think the 7700 is the way to go FOR ME. Because I'm not a gamer and those extra cores make a real difference in production tasks, video encoding and such. ALL AMD Ryzen cpu's Love a 32GB kit of decent DDR5 memory. Ryzens really like higher frequency (so DDR5-6000 is best) A systemboard is an issue, a basic B550, B650, B650-P board will do, the '800' series is nutz $$$ Can't suggest where to purchase or cost as I'm not in Thailand, I'm in the US. Has Knobs, Vol,High,Bass, + A remote ontrol. Supports Low-High Level Imputs (headphones + Audio Out). No Blue Tooth or Wifi, another model adds that at $150 USD. Excellent for Computer, Small Office, Bedroom 3' to 8' feet away Not for TV Audio Sound. I do recc using a EQ, positioning is important. I thik these are excellent for their intended purpose. I'm no longer in Thailand some 7 years after a 32 year stint there. Hence why I quote in USD $ and not Thai Baht. Last I checked ex rate 4 years ago, was 25 to dollar, so I thought it was $650. Did not know rate is now 35 to dollar. I gave my opinion based on what could be gotten here, so many better options. At $400 here can get a lot, for Thailand is decent, for him in this regard considering his age and usage. Would come with a warranty, as everything here does also. Still I would bring RAM to 16GB and up the SSD to 1TB. Apologies if I annoyed any of you with sensitive natures ie SAMIEI But not really as my post was not intended to do such, so get over it. Further I don't give a hoot how much RAM was in Apollo or in old calculators (I had the HP w 128K).

While you did not quote price, I say any more than $400 USD is a no go. CPU Weak, DRAM Low, Radeon 660M Graphics Weak, 512 GB HDD a joke. Lenovo or reseller trying to move out very old inventory. You can do better.

Seems I'm forced to reply as you never updated us on the ability to drive additional monitors. Per your post months ago. There it was suggested to get a video card. So did you sort that out or what? Cant suggest a 32" 4k monitor, see many state the scaling is not ok for fonts, they are jagged. Further that a 2k at 1440p is better, either 27" or 32", and cheaper. Just my 2 baht. Anyway TELL US what you did about driving multiple monitors. Video card?

No Way it could be <6K Baht. I've been looking here for a AM5 Ryzen 7 (or 9). Just the CPU (with iGPU), 32GB DDR5 Ram, Mobo, nothing else, and can't get below $500.
