Expect more worrisome variants after omicron, scientists say
morrobay replied to Puccini's topic in COVID-19 Coronavirus
Indeed and omicron is a distinct lineage from delta. https://covariants.org/ -
Just another sh*tload of jerks to put up with around here. As if it wasn't bad enough with the mototaxis. On a side note wonder how much revenue these unfortunate patio restaurants lose when hijacked by these crews. Ive noticed very few customers in these places. Sure the owners are aware their business is going to ****

Excellent Sir. Could not have said it better. This had nothing to do with having a beer. Give me a break. I like that no go zones. These local lowlifes shouldn't be allowed on the promenade. What with their smoking, lying around, riding motorbikes. And things like this report that I have no problem with accepting .

Don't forget that for Jomtien ,90 day there is an area to right of entrance in parking lot. So you don't have to wait 45 minutes in the main line like I did last week

It's not going to improve. So any high tech is going to have to rely on foreign engineers. As all the highly technical projects here like bridges, subways, skytrains , electrical grids have only been possible with foreign engineers. That extended link also states that Thai household debt is now 100% of GDP. And that FDI for 2020 was $17 Billion for Vietnam and $10.8 Billion for Thailand. Do you have to be a macro-economist to see major headwinds here.

Pattaya to get huge new beachside development
morrobay replied to Jonathan Fairfield's topic in Pattaya News
Let's not run the beach and water down too much. So I'm a native coastal Californian and although there is really nothing for me to do in the water here. Swimming laps does not get it for me. Just being on the coast with the longview is a major plus, I wouldn't even stay in Pattaya if not on the coast. Now about this project: they can build all the malls in the world here but with out a nice walking , shopping, dining environment right on the water it is not going to happen. Also take a round trip along beach Rd and back second Rd. So much degraded buildings , a very bad scene. Is building another first world mall on top of this third world mess that is Pattaya city going to get it ?? It would be more beneficial and attractive in terms of international seaside resort standing to take care of the mess at street level. Just because the Thais dont care or complain doesn't mean the international community would put up with it -
Three Scandinavian countries in Thai top ten of tourist nationalities
morrobay replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Don't forget the sorry lot lying around the steps and the smoked out patio cafes in the Pattaya Tai area around tuc com / Soi bukow . I don't their nationalities . But they are all cigarette smoking slobs. I guess the Scandinavians have a better appearance but in Jomtien they are also heavy cigarette smokers , so that and their mumbo jumbo language is all I need to avoid these people. -
