    These tasks usually have a time limit although no idea what the one used for this is. When I worked for UK Police sometimes saw the recruits taking part in their fitness test which was only a 15 minute shuttle run.

    That's for sure. Several years ago my wife and I were at one of their concerts in a nearby village when one of her friends came running over and said that I should leave right now as a few of the locals were planning to beat up the farang in the audience. I made a hasty retreat and got home unscathed.

    I used to ride with a couple of the local cycling clubs and can say they were all very responsible riders, rode single file except when overtaking and all had front and rear lights on their bicycles. They know more than any foreigner the danger to cyclists on Thai roads and regularly advised me of those dangers. If you don't have time to react to a hazard when taking a bend you're driving too fast simple as that.

    The committee that sets up the scheme hasn't even been formed yet so not sure where the 6 months comes from.

    Just an inspired guess based on past handouts. Agree with the sentiment in your post though except that I'd wager the 10k wouldn't even last a couple of days if it were handed out in one go.

    Not if the 10k is drip fed to recipients over many months. No way will the Govt drop everyone the whole wad at once. Best guess would be 300 bht per week or 1k a month.

    Unlikely because only those who tested covid+ were included in official figures for covid infections.

    Political views are fine but when somebody is put in such a position of power without any form of election by the public and then uses that power to help overturn the will of the people then they must be called to account and shown for what they are.

    This is what happens when there is next to zero enforcement of laws. Until everyone is led to believe that there are actually consequences for their actions it will continue.

    Tax on an income of 400k bht, married man's extension, is 17,500 bht per year. Wonder if they'll throw in free Govt Healthcare and a Thai pension as benefit's?

I'm sure there are supporters of the previous administration already scouring these sources for political dirt in the hope of a charge that disqualifies him from political life.

    Probably because hospitals and clinics are very reluctant to carry out an atk test for whatever reason. We all tested for covid when we got sick as we got a warning we'd been in contact with a victim.

    Don't know about flu but covid is making it's presence felt at my daughter's school again. We all had it 10 days ago and she went back to school yesterday. She was poorly for 24 hours, wifey and I achey all over for the same but the cough seems to b hanging around.
