  1. Use your phone to read it, install Google translate, open it, translate Thai to English, click on camera, hold camera over words, then read..
  2. Perhaps you could show me the odds of that happening, you know, % wise. Seems you're gen'd up on it...???? I just have this feeling you are probably more likely to be die the next time you step out onto Thai roads..
  3. Over my longish life I have had many jabs, and do you know what, I have never asked where they were produced. I had eye surgery in Khon Kaen by a professor surgeon, my aftercare medication was written all in Chinese, I was told verbally in English the instructions. If it were not for the media, I guess you would have any shot....????
  4. My local hozzy were giving Sinopharm free to folk of my age, pregnant ladies and infirmed, if it were Sinovac I would have passed. I did a bit of reading on the various jab options..
  5. CVT is an auto that works differently to a conventional auto, Continuously Variable Transmission. Fluid changes must be taken seriously with CVT.. There are boxes that are sealed, they use their own formulated fluid, think Subaru are one, they are obviously confident about their setup...
  6. Up to them, but a waste of money if not a well used CVT...
  7. I was out in my CVT when it would not start, a very nice Thai bloke stopped and gave me a jump start, then I headed to B-Quik to test the battery, the readout showed voltage was OK but, the starting/cranking voltage showed 8.8 volts, replace battery. Hmmm, so I bought one there, a bigger one, Yuasa, with more amps. This high-end battery lasted just over one year, how, god knows, as the alternator/charging system was working fine. Went back to test it at B-Quik, it was stuffed. I didn't buy another, I went to a local battery place and bought an Amaron battery, with 2 year written guaranty, yes Amaron give 2 year guaranty on all their batteries..Fingers crossed...
  8. 2 mil on a second hand ride, got to be a Mercedes then....????
  9. Sorry, I have no idea about auto machine shop locations, I was pointing out it can be done in one. You could do a search for Thai performance workshops, they will use automotive machine shops. If I get a minute, I will see what I can find...
  10. For sure, bit like shelf life I suppose...First time I pulled an auto apart I was amazed at the clutch mating material, it looked like thin cardboard, replacements were near the same. But auto boxes really are an incredibly strong piece of kit, the GM TH400 3 speed, which was put in big and performance cars didn't need much doing to them to handle a 1000HP for strip use, Jag and Rolls used them back in the day too.. I put around 700hp through my TH400, had a temp gauge in the trans deep sump, never had a heat problem with the setup I had, fluid stayed pink and always smelled like new...????
  11. The fluid in an auto can go on for a very long time without changing, it works in a closed environment virtually free from contaminates, unless it has an internal problem, 100,000km is no problem as long as fluid temperature is kept in its operating range. CVT 'auto' is a different kettle of fish because it works very differently, 60,000km is the max , but 30,000km if you drive the ride hard. Just changed our CVT fluid at 35,000km as I don't hang around. Manual box, will vary, 60/80,000km is probably about right. Your handbook should really be consulted just in case your ride is an exception...????
  12. They are two separate licences, you pay for them separately, and the paperwork is done separately....
