  1. Does your country have a King or Queen.....?
  2. I was going to have a pop at the anti-UK Royalty brigade posters above, but thought better to point out my thoughts on the possible lower Royalty support, if there indeed is one. In our times the problem has been the Harry nut job, gone the same way as his mother, him doing the Oprah, Netflix, Spare thing, when he could have just walked away. I hope to see the <deleted> given some verbal grief when he shows up, booing would be great if it is away from the proceedings. As for the Brit anti Monarchy blokes above, I think you will see on May 6th, the resounding pleasure given by the British people to the event, to our countries centuries of King's and Queen's coronations, whilst you have your envious noses stuck in a beer glass......???? As for non-Brits, well, I feel sorry that your monarchy was removed, if you never had a monarchy, well, I feel sorry for you too......????....
  3. Your plumbing is sorted, the fix info is in abundance, another's isn't.........................????
  4. Transom.....
  5. I have been in LOS many years, I still have a Nationwide account in the UK that I haven't used for about 12+ years, they know I live here, they still send me monthly emails...........????
  6. Feathers....
  7. I am sorry to hear she removed your cash outlay for improvements when you were away..........
  8. Gone are the days of plugs, points and a carb tweak.....???? Our weeee runaround was playing up at idle, I took it to Suzuki, they knew what it was straight away, they said at that KM reading the throttle body can need stripping and cleaning, which they did. After, they put the car on the diagnostic thingy to make adjustments, all done for 500bht..........????
  9. "Howzat for an update" Well, it seems your wife controls you.................... So you use town water supply to fill two upstairs dustbins so you can use a saucepan to wet yourself. I will give you 8 out of 10 for effort, but 0 out of 10 for using your loaf.........????
  10. "You lose"..................???? My wife is Isaan too, and from a very poor background, but she knows about progress, and now complains if there is something wrong with the electric "hot" shower. ???? If you want to keep your wife in the dark ages, that's up to you, but I think you maybe lost....????
  11. Bet you've got slippery tiles.....................????
  12. Talking about, "garbled rubbish", read the above........
  13. My gov. supply is probably 40mtrs to the tank, it is less than 1", at the meter it looks like 1/2" internal plastic, in and out, could be a tad more though. Most of my place has 1/2" pipe, it is all sunk in the walls, nothing on show.......???? Back home, we would use 1/2"/12mm copper pipe all over the place wiv no probs, though no pump was needed there....????
  14. I've got a Mitsu 250w, when we had the floods, the only room that took water was the room with the wash machine, tank and pump. Wasn't I glad I put valves everywhere to take the pump out, raise it up a foot or so and re-plumb.... It pays to think of any eventuality that costs peanuts for future problems.......????
  15. 3) I use shut off valves either side of the pump in case it has to be removed/replaced, which it has. It saves one hell of a mess, and then water feed valves going around the missing pump can be opened up...... Up to you if you want to wear wellingtons, doing an easy job...
  16. That reminds me of Mrs.T's late mum, when visiting, she would not use the showers, fear of electricity and folk being fried.. We had to rig up a bin and scoop in the garden, it wasn't a pretty sight....
  17. They are fed up too..................????
  18. Depends on what you are used to, my showers upstairs are extremely invigorating, the toilet refills in seconds, we have back-to-back toilets, no ploblems with the pump water supply....????
  19. So you want to take care of "barbaric" murders till they die in prison..... ? Riiiiight...........
  20. The bypass is a get you out of trouble fix only, for pump failure or electric off..........???? It requires a series of on off stop cocks, a couple to isolate the pump, and a couple to open up gov water to the house...
  21. If the house has a pump feed it doesn't matter what size gov water pipe feeding the tank, the tank outlet is what matters, it is feeding the pump, I have 1" pipe from the bottom of the tank feeding the pump and 1" from there on until it branches in different directions feeding the taps, showers etc.... Also plumbed in is a bi-pass, in case one has a pump/electricity problem. At my place, the gov water pressure will not get upstairs. I have a 250w non-pressure tank pump, good pressure upstairs......????
  22. Greedy people take the chances............. ???? Your other stuff has nothing to do with Thailand............
  23. If the town water is filling the tank, you will not have any pressure elsewhere while it is doing it. The 13mm feed is OK if it is filling a tank, that feeds a pump, which will feed all the house, it is what I have....????
  24. In which case, there is no choice.............
  25. Yeh, I am sure they all do that.................????
