The suggestions of non flexible glues are going to fail quite quickly. A contact adhesive, silicone or low foaming PU will be best, cyanoacrylate glues (super glues) are too rigid the same applies to most epoxies.

Udon immigration requirements are for a bank letter confirming you are the holder of the account + statement/s covering the period for your EXTENSION cost for each document certified by the bank is ฿100 this is the standard requirement. @Chipkili did not get renewal of a visa as visas are never renewed or extended, he got an extension of stay. If you @harry94 have not needed both of these two documents then you have been lucky everyone else who has posted about Udon immigration has needed them.

Marriage or tourist
sometimewoodworker replied to sd44's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Useful information, notability none of them are LCCs, which may, or may not be relevant. You would almost certainly have had a different experience on a LCC also flying from Japan among other countries. -
Marriage or tourist
sometimewoodworker replied to sd44's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
That is very dependent on the country you are flying from and the airline. Most nearby countries (including many not so close) and low cost airlines will not let you checking or board without an onward ticket. So your experience is valid from where? And what airline/airlines? -
Dedicated Earth-Hot Water Heater
sometimewoodworker replied to LosLobo's topic in The Electrical Forum
TLDR. Get it wrong and death is possible and not the worst outcome. The technicalities of earthing is a rather large subject and a quick overview isn’t really possible, however John Ward has put out a rather comprehensive set of videos on that and other subjects. this is just one of several hundred of his videos quite a few cover aspects of earthing, so I suggest a few weeks of study will help -

Having more than 1 earthing point for a house that are not bonded together to effectively become a single point can create a dangerous situation and make an otherwise safe installation unsafe. -
Facing Visa Overstay Issue
sometimewoodworker replied to chai333's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Virtually all immigration offices have a phone number that you can call to ask about an under consideration stamp and if the visa/extension is ready for collection. 1178 is generic and as you found not very helpful in your case. A Thai speaker can be needed as the English speakers are often busy. The number may be 077 822 016 Under consideration usually (always) goes to the regional HQ for approval. I have called my local office occasionally to check and always got through and got an answer. you will need the information on your stamp, that is not always easy to read. -

It isn’t. The rear wall is our bedroom where the inside unit is, the left is outside. -

It may well look horizontal to you but it doesn’t look horizontal to either my sprit level or the installers one. ???? -

You are not correct. Even Thai AC installers understand that water runs downwards so do not run the exhaust water pipe horizontally and since it is usually run with the other pipes (they are pumped or use pressure) they all run downwards allowing water to flow out. Also ugly? This is an example that proves the point that your statement is wrong. -
While cutting off may well be the answer 100F is no where near hot enough for the glue to un-bond 100C may not be hot enough though the pressure rating will be drastically reduced. But get the fittings hot enough and they will come apart, though with a glued thread they may not be reusable. FWIW books seldom have PVC covers ????

As mentioned if you can get the pipes hot enough the glue will not hold. BUT the temperature needed is vey close to the temperature at which the pipes soften enough to deform. I have had good success with reused junctions where I was able to cut the pipe and junction and strip the pipe out on my workbench. your situation is very different so pictures will help. It maybe that you can have the pipe full of water so lowering the deformation risk.

Best way to buy GBP cash?
sometimewoodworker replied to MRToMRT's topic in Jobs, Economy, Banking, Business, Investments
No it doesn’t, near enough is good enough. -
Absolutely it is. However Cat 6 or 6a is easier to put the ends on as the copper is thicker. it is perfectly possible (DAMHIK) to get 2 Cat5 strands on the same pin, not so with 6/6a The difference in price is usually minimal compared to the cost in time and money running the cable. But of course it’s your money so your choice.

Is the crimp tool for pass through plugs? If not the don’t get that one.
-
Be careful, exterior lan cable is not the same as interior grade & get cat 6 or 6a. with a crimp tool and RJ45 do not get closed ended plugs get pass through ones and don’t forget the cable tester. the crimp tool will be about ฿1,000

I did, but as your post suggested the new boats are not prominently featured, that is rather misinformation, no? FWIW

100% I just did exactly that my reentry permit was issued on April 7th the same day I applied for my extension and was given an under consideration stamp to June 14th my extension expired on May 14 I flew to the U.K. on May 22nd returned on June 11th On entry was given permission to stay until June 14th (the young lady IO was a little concerned that I only had 3 days stay) on June 14th I went to Udon immigration and received my extension. You will need a reentry permit issued on or after you got your under consideration stamp as it will need to cover the period from issuing the stamp until the date on the under consideration stamp. Re-entry permits issued before the under consideration stamp will be useless for the period of the under consideration stamp

Thailand does NOT sell dual-split air conditioners. Why ?
sometimewoodworker replied to thairookie's topic in DIY Forum
There is a prohibition on stocking items that don’t sell. if you want something that is not bought by 90% of the population then go to a shop that specialises in AC units
