  1. There is no problem with e-sim. The connection is no different. The iPhone 11 has no problems connecting to WiFi. I have the iPhone SE 2 it’s connections are the same as the iPhone 11 I’m using an AIS number which is on the e-sim. I can virtually guarantee that the problem is one of the settings is misconfigured or she has lightning headphones without a microphone plugged in. but the troubleshooting is simple. Click the “Support app” click “more” scroll down to “phone calls” check the articles if they don’t help then she can drop to the bottom of the screen and either use online chat with AppleCare or call them. They are extremely helpful and will diagnose the problem. In the extremely unlikely event that there is actually a fault in the phone they will arrange replacement or repair.
  2. It depends on the email host you are using. You are probably using IMAP email places like yahoo Google and Microsoft (hotmail) are all either IMAP or as near as makes no difference to the user. So “deleted” mail maybe actually archived (Google) or quite possibly actually deleted, but in any case usually deleted from the phone immediately, sent mail will depend on your settings but it may not be retained on the phone. To access the sent mail, archived mail (Google deleted), saved mail etc, you will either need to change settings on the phone or more probably log into the website. If they are on the phone you will be able somewhere to see how much space is being used by each program, I guess you are using android, I don’t so can’t tell you exactly how to see that but a Google search will. The way IMAP works is that the mail is on the server your device is just going to the server for it and unless you have used rather unusual settings doesn’t keep much on your device. you are probably remembering POP3 Mail where the server kept nothing it was always on your device. I still use it for some of my email and can go back around 25 years but then I’m not your average user.
  3. Technically nowhere can cut tempered glass as it will always shatter. You need to have the glass cut, polished then tempered, so you need a specialist shop who can order it from the glass manufacturers
  4. The auto stop function is virtually useless but consumers don’t now this so it’s been put into most cars.
  5. A new battery in Thailand is unlikely to last much beyond 3~4 years, though the batteries fitted to new cars seem to be better quality and may last a little longer, one thing you can do to extend the life is keep the maximum temperature down, since this comes after you stop the engine after a reasonable length trip, opening the bonnet for 10~20 minutes will help. Of course you can only do this at home but it will reduce the number of heat cycles the battery is subjected to.
  6. They don’t have it on the website but the 2019 one is probably what you have printed and it is there https://www.toyota.com/owners/resources/warranty-owners-manuals.yaris.2019 It is designed to stop the engine if you stop the car in traffic or at traffic lights. Anything other than using the foot brake is not communicated correctly to the ECU computer as a temporary stop, and it shouldn’t be, so anything else you do will cause a restart. Also if the AC needs to cool the interior the engine will restart.
  7. Dye added to refrigerant can certainly help in some cases and has its uses. Maybe for the OP since he can’t seem to find an actual AC repair technician.
  8. Neither of those ways are correct. the correct way is to first use a gas sniffing tool to locate a possible leak, then use a detergent containing liquid in the area that gas was detected if it was, then recover the charge finding the weight recovered, flow nitrogen through the system to stop contamination, solder the leaks, pull the system down to as near a vacuum as is recommended (you will have gas dissolved in the compressor oil so the vacuum is limited) over about 10 to 30 minutes confirm that the vacuum decay is low enough that it’s only due to dissolved gas, then finally put the correct weight of refrigerant back in. soapy water is a poor choice as you need a bubble free liquid on the AC . So how many AC cleaning techs here have the equipment to actually do that, even in their shop? And a leak must be found in the installed AC.
  9. It’s unlikely that there is any way to achieve what you want. There are also a lot of technical writers who disagree with moving the drive into neutral at short stops. This habit comes from best practices for manual drive cars where you will kill a clutch fast by not using neutral
  10. The cassette is far less obtrusive than any split, directs the fan in 4 directions at once has a better fan and filter to match the airflow directions you need 4 splits not 2
  11. Not really. There are many “technicians” here with no technical training, so 3 for 3 unless they are from the manufacturer is normal
  12. Really ???? but this is Thailand and everyone knows that in Thailand everything is different and special!!
  13. You already know that they are not competent AC mechanics so why should they be correct that your refrigerant is low?
  14. A simple pressure test tells you nothing about the amount of refrigerant in your system. A refrigerant gas tester is not cheap if it’s any good, the training to know where to test and how to test is needed to use it, and even if you locate a leak the skill to repair or knowledge that it can’t be fixed is needed
  15. Thanks @Crossy I knew you would be along to expand and that you have the documents handy but thought that the first picture was enough to get @sead going, also though I probably have the others I’m not sure where ????
  16. For issuing the first time it was exactly the same as I had an IDP with both car and motorcycle. if you have to take the driving and riding tests it is probably one at a time.
  17. FWIW the extremely high death rate in Thailand is overwhelmingly due to motorcycle riders being killed in accidents, so take extreme care.
  18. Yes there are 2 licenses. However once you have both and if you got them at the same time then when it’s renewal time you just hand in 2 copies (original of some + a copy or 2 copies and original ) and both get processed at the same time, you get a photograph at the same time etc, so while technically true it seems as if it’s all done together.
  19. You have some unique ideas. No not all hand tool batteries are 21v there are many different voltages used while it’s possible that in some places VF may be a coding system it isn’t common.
  20. Ignore all the Global House, DoHome, Thai Watsadu, HomeHub, HomePro etc suggestions you need to go to a shop that specialises in AC and does it’s own install as your install is not a standard screw it to the wall job. You need a specialist job and a specialist shop that doesn’t sub its installs is required. Everyone who is suggesting the big box stores has a standard fitting that any, even half, competent installer should be able to do. So that’s what they got and it’s good enough.
