  1. I sympathise with your total inability to understand. All the systems of points have value, the Thai system is more easy to understand, get down to zero, by by license.
  2. The only reason would be the order of the non-alphabetical keys, some countries have a different order for some keys, I don’t know if Thailand is one, I do know that a Japanese/English keyboard has characters in different places.
  3. I had a conversation with an AppleCare specialist today after your post and before I responded. The information that you are reporting is 100% wrong. I suggest you call again to confirm, once you get your new computer they will respond with a callback. As long as you delete the device from your AppleID account each time the only limit is the hardware keeping functioning. Software that is linked to an Apple ID may quite possibly/ probably be limited to that Apple ID so the software can not be updated if you don’t have access to that account. However there is nothing at all stopping you from erasing the device and reinstalling the OS. There is categorically no limit to the number of times a device that is not linked to an Apple ID can be reset and used. There is also no way that (usually an iPhone/iPad) that is linked to an AppleID , is then stolen and wiped can ever be used without the original AppleID it becomes a brick.
  4. That could well be a reason for the discounts, there is also the fact that ordering directly you can chose the M1 Pro or M1 Max along with the number of -CPU cores and GPU, cores
  5. I understand exactly your position, however it is very much a case of deciding exactly which device to get the AppleCare on. I have over the years had 2 MacBook Pro computers that had several motherboards replaced under AppleCare (the warranty had lapsed on both) each laptop was eventually replaced with a new better one. So AppleCare was an absolute winner. I have multiple iPods I have never got AppleCare for them and never would. I have just bought AirPods Pro 2 I bought AppleCare+ for them as with my usage I am sure I will need the batteries replaced due to degradation in the next 23 months
  6. I very much suspect that the information you believe you have been given is wrong, as you probably did not give all the context. If an Apple device is currently registered to a an AppleID it can not be registered to another AppleID. (Though I have 2 devices showing on both of my Apple IDs I haven’t checked out the reason for that) Once you use the forget device setting on your Apple ID you can sell or give it away. There is no limit to the number of times this can be done. There is a limit to the number of Apple IDs that can be created on a particular device (it is 5) however you do not have to create an Apple ID using any device so that is rather esoteric.
  7. I think that a chest freezer is probably even better than that
  8. My experience exactly Using your figures compared to the Mitsubishi the Mitsubishi is 2.462289 times the loudness, 4.466836 times the sound pressure & 19.952623 times the acoustic intensity. http://www.sengpielaudio.com/calculator-levelchange.htm
  9. As I said 1.5mm is a bit overkill for lighting. A power circuit is probably anything that isn’t lighting, since power circuits typically have several outlets connected rather than just 1 that is why the standard is 2.5mm. For anything like a stored water heater or instant heater shower they would usually be on a dedicated supply and that could well be 4mm or more. I doubt that even Germany suggests anything smaller
  10. The breaker size for the cable is not the relevant point & I agree that for 1.5mm a 16A breaker (or if you are @Crossy A 10A breaker) the point is that a 1.5mm circuit is undersized for power and only really suitable for lighting. Virtually all power circuits have more than a single outlet so 2.5mm minimum. So the statement Suggests ingestion of products from ThaiGreenLab
  11. You haven’t said where you live, while a U.K. electrician may actually be an electrician, the chance is good, it still isn’t a guarantee. With your location there may be other options.
  12. You don’t have an electrician. If you get an actual electrician you will find out the exact problem, IMHO almost certainly a borrowed neutral. As to cable size that depends on actual load and distance
  13. I’m not sure what you are smoking but 1.5 sqmm is a little high for lighting and not suitable for any power circuit. That will be a minimum of 2.5 sqmm.
  14. The unit is 1 cubic meter (1,000 litres) and in our case that is about 4 Baht
  15. I don’t know where you are getting your information from but you are wrong, all my ABB MCBs are “Input Voltage Type: AC/DC”, Schneider are no different and yes of course you have to be concerned with DC leakage. As that is “Method A enclosed in enclosed in thermally wall or in insulating wall” and AAC blocks are thermally insulating naturally that is the one to use.
  16. You are the only one using the word complaining nobody else is. All the comments are on comparisons between noise levels of different pumps.
  17. With the MacBook Pro I would strongly advise getting AppleCare+ for Mac as it is unbeatable value of 3,167 per year it even includes accidental damage coverage. Personally I’ve had superb service using AppleCare and over the last 15 years have even had two computers completely replaced at no cost.
  18. Sorry that is not correct. I have personally had more used Apple computers and devices than the majority of users, from a Fat Mac and many others. The computer will connect to iCloud the OS can be updated, though possibly not the version. The significant problem is if the software suite (pages, numbers, garage band, iMovie & key note) has been registered with an Apple ID as these are licensed to the first Apple ID to register them and you are correct that only that user can update those. There is also the fact that the first Apple ID may have (probably will have) linked that computer to their Apple ID you will have something like this probably fewer, however you can always remove a product from your account by going into your AppleID and removing it. So before buying a device make sure it is in-linked
  19. My personal recommendation is the mission hospital 430 Phitsanulok Rd, Si Yaek Maha Nak, Dusit District, Bangkok 10300 https://mission-hospital.org/en/ I and SWMBO used them for many years, the only reason that we stopped was because we moved to Udon Thani so don’t visit Bangkok often. hospitals like bumrungrad may just possibly have a few extra tests however the main difference is in the prices they charge. All hospitals will have English speaking doctors (many doctors in Thailand can speak English anyway) even in my local clinic and hospital in deepest Issan most doctors and pharmacists speak English.
  20. As with many things in Thailand you have to be careful. Are the laptops actually being sold at approximately the same price as other “known to be genuine” laptops of the same specifications? If yes it’s a good sign, if much cheaper, beware. Are all the laptop specifications actually ones which were sold by Apple? If yes, it’s a good sign, if no, it’s an indication that there could be problems. Don’t forget to check out the refurbished store prices in the US, it’s possible that you may have refurbished laptops rather than completely new laptops. This doesn’t mean that they are in anyway inferior, just cheaper. Don’t forget that most Apple products have Apple tamper seals on them, if you just have shrink wrapped boxes that doesn’t mean to say they are new and unopened, just that they can use good quality shrink wrap. Unfortunately the genuineness of the laptops can only be checked once opened and they are accepted as new products by apple and that only means that the serial number, (that must be the same on the box and laptop) has not been registered, it does not automatically guarantee that all the components are original.
  21. As I mentioned very much quieter, it is on a rubber pad. It can also be set to be double the pressure of the majority of pumps, the increased pressure makes no difference to the noise level. If we were to need another pump I would buy the same again.
  22. Significantly quieter. our Mitsubishi EP155 was quite audible from behind a block wall, the SCALA 2 is barely noticeable behind an extremely lightweight door that has significant gaps In it and is actually in the living room. it is actually behind this “door” that as you can see provides virtually no sound reduction
  23. I have a SCALA 2. Only people who have a problem will post. The many, I am one there are others on this forum, do not bother to post. As to reliability and service. I had a problem with my pump about 3~4 years ago, The pump had been in service for about 12~18 months, I knew that there was a problem that would need major service, I took the pump to my local (60km away) dealer in KK, they plugged in the pump to check, then they took a look at the plate on the back of the pump (they said I didn’t need my receipt as the information was on the pump), I was given a new replacement pump as a repair would have taken some time (I assume they wanted the failed pump for Grundfos investigation) They also told me I could have taken a video and sent it in for diagnosis. They would have visited had I asked, but as I needed to do a shopping trip taking the pump in was the fastest easiest option. Total time from pulling into the dealer to driving out with a brand new replacement 10~15 minutes. Grundfos Service, unbelievably good Grundfos Reliability, there may have been a problem, it was eliminated immediately Grundfos Response, impossible to be better The only point is I bought from the main distributor, buy from a big box store, save a few Baht, will you get the same service? I don’t know. how to reduce pump noise? Simple, constrict a box using something like 20mm ~ 25mm sherawood (make sure you leave air access) line it with dense rubber and the pump will be silent. ours has no sound proofing, is in the ceiling and is not at all obtrusive, we can hear it running if we listen carefully. FWIW our pump is designed to bypass with a power cut, that it why the pipes are hard to understand
  24. You may well believe your “facts” that “you say” show that apple service and warranty is different depending on where you purchase your product. Without specific examples of this being true, that you suggest you have, your claims are unbelievable. Give examples and you will get support, don’t and you may fall foul of the Thai deformation law.
  25. We don’t have information about his current setup, so there can only be speculation. the only information that is available is that the installer claimed that his NVR could not support colour at a 5mp level due to an update. he has mentioned upgrading the system so that is why I feel that a 2Mp camera is a poor choice, there are 4 & 5 Mp cameras for not much more than the 2Mp though a higher capacity NVR may well be needed For room security a here is a 4Mp image and here is an 8Mp image the larger image allows for zoomed detail
