Lukewarm Pro-Europeanism? ๐๐ They can't stand the EU. With good reason. The EU is on thin ice. Very thin ice. Either they accept the public mood and act upon it, or they just label them bigots and xenophobes, put their fingers in their ears and continue on the same path. I suspect it will be the latter, and that could well start the crumbling of the house of cards. Which would be a terrible shame .

Mistaken Early Release of Prisoners Sparks Concerns for Victims' Safety
JonnyF replied to Social Media's topic in World News
He was criticizing Rayner's policy. https://www.telegraph.co.uk/politics/2024/06/26/labour-every-uk-borough-must-take-fair-share-migrants/ Jailed for being offensive. Let that sink it. No charges for the Muslims who broke the female police officer's nose though... No jail for Huw Edwards and his paedo pics. 2 tier Keir. -

Mistaken Early Release of Prisoners Sparks Concerns for Victims' Safety

Yes they have. See links above. Rushed through the courts and jailed within a week. Meanwhile the Labour guy who actually called for throats to be slit has a court date for next year. Why was he not rushed through the courts and jailed within a week? I'll tell you why, because Britain has 2 tier justice under free gear Keir. https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/credz9gl92yo Let's see how much jail time he gets, if charges aren't dropped once the story disappears. Manchester thugs also still not charged. -

Mistaken Early Release of Prisoners Sparks Concerns for Victims' Safety

No, I am talking about the guy who asked where the immigrants would go. What would happen when they arrived in his town (or "turf" as he described it) - essentially repeating Rayner's promise that they would indeed arrive in every town. No incitement to violence. Just a picture of some Asian looking guys, which is accurate since many immigrants are indeed from Asia. Jailed for posting that on FaceBook. Absolutely disgusting authoritarianism. Meanwhile, the Muslim guys who broke the nose of the female police officer at Manchester Airport still haven't been charged. Not fictional incitement, but actual physical violence against a female police officer resulting in significant injury. Two tier Keir. -
Typical Guardian pearl clutching. Right wing parties are gaining ground because of the complete failures of the left on immigration, resulting in some European cities now resembling a more violent version of skid row. Murray predicted this. Nobody listened. They made their bed, now they have to lie in it.

Mistaken Early Release of Prisoners Sparks Concerns for Victims' Safety

A ridiculous policy, designed to make space in jail for people criticizing the government's policies or making stupid posts on FaceBook. Can this government get anything right? Starmer should resign. -

So many negative effects of the lockdowns. Poor decisions that will be felt for decades to come. -
Ellen DeGeneres, a shameless return to standup that's unfunny

Just another fake #bekind Liberal, playing the victim and hiding behind immutable characteristics. A real nasty piece of work once the cameras go off. -
Trump Surges in Latest Top Poll 538 Predictions
JonnyF replied to Social Media's topic in World News
Of course he's not going to do one on CNN. That would be like fighting Mike Tyson with his promoter Don King as the referee and Robin Givens the sole judge. ๐ If they do another one, it needs neutral moderation. -
If there is evidence of this then Combs needs to be locked away for a very long time. If there is a tape as she suggests then it should be very easy to prove. I also hope it is not another case like that awful Giuffre woman in the Prince Andrew case. She came out of the woodwork to "stop this happening to anyone else" until she got the multi million pound payout and swiftly disappeared again. Let's hope all the yacht girls/Pros that were paid handsomely for their "services" do not start crying rape in the hope of a payout and diminish the suffering felt by the real victims of Combs, of which I have no doubt there are many.

I couldn't care really, as long as they are selected on ability alone and not DEI quotas. I do find it amusing that the likes of the BBC's Elidh Barbour have no issue with this though. I guess diversity is only important when there are too many white people on the team. ๐ https://www.gg2.net/bbc-receives-more-than-200-racism-complaints-over-presenters-comment-on-englands-all-white-lionesses/
