Taylor Swift threatens to sue student who tracks her private jet
JonnyF replied to Social Media's topic in World News
If she stayed out of politics she'd garner much less attention of this nature. But no, she wants to try to influence elections when it suits her but then flip the switch to off when it doesn't. Light the tinder box then walk away. It doesn't really work like that, if she wants to be political she must accept there will be some blowback. -
He can normally form coherent sentences for an hour or so when he's juiced up so he might well debate. The trouble for Biden is that Trump is far more charismatic and quick witted. So even if they wind him up and wheel him on stage he won't do well.

The world has a Kamala Harris problem. Her and Biden. Like Laurel and Hardy... What a mess for the Dems...

Tucker Carlson: Putin takes charge as TV host gives free rein to Kremlin
JonnyF replied to Social Media's topic in World News
I wonder how many people commenting actually watched the interview in full. Putin spoke some rubbish and also made some valid points. Either way, it's good to learn more about the man even if it confirms what many suspect about him. Carlson's viewing figures are off the charts either way. Journalism and free speech might just still be alive and kicking. I'm sure the left will want to cancel him which is further evidence that he is doing something right. Personally, after all the propaganda I got from western governments lately (climate emergency, 76 genders, covid alarmism, identity politics, white privilege etc) it was much more interesting to hear propaganda from the east for a change. He could run rings around Biden. Man vs boy. -
Biden: "I am an elderly man ... I know what the hell I'm doing"

More evidence as if it was needed that Biden is in no fit state to run a country. If he was my grandfather I wouldn't let him run a bath. -
The Official Manchester United Thread
JonnyF replied to Jonathan Fairfield's topic in Football forum
Hey Rhick. Good to see you finally come out of hiding following a couple of United wins, top red (when you're winning ). A bit lucky against Wolves but a good performance against West Ham. It was good to see Hojlund get a goal I think he could turn out to be worth the 35 million that United paid for him. Ohh, wait a minute... -
GOP delivers death blow to bipartisan border bill
JonnyF replied to Social Media's topic in World News
Couldn't agree more. That's what I meant by bait and switch. Bait the voters into thinking they're tough on immigration, then the day after the election make the switch. Classis underhand Lib/Dem tactics. The GOP saw it a mile off and put Biden in the corner with his dunce hat on. -
GOP delivers death blow to bipartisan border bill
JonnyF replied to Social Media's topic in World News
As a neutral observer I see this as a smart move by the GOP. The Dems are trying to lay the ground work for their election campaign after taking no action for years. No reason to allow them to attempt to dupe the public into believing they are taking a tough stance on this. It's a classic bait and switch from the Libs. -
King Charles III diagnosed with cancer, Buckingham Palace says
JonnyF replied to webfact's topic in World News
The British cannot stand her. Nothing to do with her black mother. Deciding not to visit Charles, the man who walked her down the aisle after she sacked off her own sick father is one of a multitude of reasons the British have seen through this vile grifter. -

Ah the racist card. which Harry later retracted. The only royal who has openly been racist is Harry himself. How ironic. Fight back against being a Millionaire Prince with a 30 million pound wedding paid by the taxpayer? Well we all have our cross to bear I suppose. Normalizing such idiotic anti-semitic behaviour is never a good look. -

Of course it's on topic given that Harry has just flown back to see his sick father. Every time you can't counter something you claim it is off topic. -
King Charles III diagnosed with cancer, Buckingham Palace says
JonnyF replied to webfact's topic in World News
Questioning his heritage was a result of his mother's well documented multiple affairs. Blaming the media for his behaviour is ridiculous. His vitriolic nature was protected from the media by the family until he met the American divorcee who not content with alienating her own sick father encouraged the dim witted Prince to do the same with his. The media didn't make him dress like a Nazi or call his Asian friend "My P**i friend". Unfortunately he met a wrong 'un but didn't have the intelligence to see it. Folie a Deux if ever I saw it. Hopefully King Charles will find the strength to forgive him. He's a very kind soul. Maybe too kind. I can only hope they stop using their children to manipulate him now that he is possibly dying. -

What would you care? All you can do is post about other people who also have cancer. This thread is about King Charles, a man I have respect for which is why I have contempt for Whinge and Cringe making his life more difficult. -

No. I suspect Harry needs some material for whatever traitorous "tell all" Netflix series he has planned with his privacy seeking, Instagram loving wife. If I was Charles I'd be getting security to frisk him thoroughly for recording devices before meeting him. He can't get his wife to carry it this time as she likely did at the funeral of the Queen. Charles really doesn't need Ginge and Cringe causing the family any more stress. I wonder if they will finally allow him to see his Grandchildren given that he may be incredibly ill, or will they continue to weaponize Merchie and LiliBucks as a tool of manipulation to get what they want from the King? Thank god William was born first. We've really been 'spared' from the gruesome twosome of California. -
Most don’t trust Supreme Court on election cases: Poll
JonnyF replied to Social Media's topic in World News
Why would you trust them when you can see every verdict coming a mile off depending on the political affiliation of the individual in question? 🙈 It's beyond parody at this point. What a fall from grace for the USA. Better stop lecturing those third world countries I think... -
Well colour me shocked. A US court verdict going against Trump. Never saw that coming. Meanwhile, no charges for Biden in the classified documents case. https://www.straitstimes.com/world/united-states/no-charges-for-biden-over-handling-of-classified-documents-washington-post The US in freefall to banana republic status under the Democrats.

Due soon. DOJ report on Biden classified documents; no criminal charges
JonnyF replied to Social Media's topic in World News
Why would they not recommend criminal charges? Oh wait a minute, it's Biden. The justice legal system is the US is really the equivalent to that of a banana republic's at this point.- 28 replies

Yes let's cancel him for doing an interview because we don't like the person he is interviewing (and because he has some right leaning views). That's definitely the best way forward for journalism and freedom of speech.

Should be interesting to see whether Biden's attempts to incarcerate his political opponents are successful. Because nothing says Democracy like third world banana republic tactics and starting wars in the build up to elections.
