I thought her post was nasty and stupid. Certainly ill considered. That's why she took it down after an hour. But you are misrepresenting what she actually said. She wasn't encouraging anyone to do anything. She said do it "for all I care". In other words, she doesn't care if you do it or not. That is different to encouraging someone to do it. If I said to you "Go on holiday to Samui for all I care", it doesn't mean I want you to go there. I am not demanding or even encouraging you. It just means I don't care if you do or you don't. Same as "if that makes me a racist then so be it". That doesn't mean she was saying "I am a racist". It's like if I said "I'm think I'm going to have half a shandy once a week, if that makes me a raging alcoholic then so be it". That is not a confession of raging alcoholism. It certainly gave them an opportunity to make an example of her though. Even so, they went way OTT with the sentence. Especially considering her loss of a young child and subsequent PTSD. I think if you were being honest you would admit that instead of posting your usual reply of "check the court records" which you will probably do again. 😆

A New Generation Pushes for Power Within the Democratic Party

AOC is too far left IMO. They need someone just a smidge to the left of centre, not someone with radical opinions on pretty much every subject. It will alientate the centre ground/swing voters. -
Opinion Russian Teacher to Thais: Drop ‘Farang’ if 'Ni Hao' Offends
JonnyF replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
There is no doubt that Thai people often expect more respect than they tend to give others. A couple of examples... 1. The use of farang, negro, Kaek etc. when only "Khon Thai" will do for them. 2. The uproar when a Thai flag with a Man City logo/slogan was waved at the City ground under Thaksin's ownership, meanwhile flipflops, underwear and various other tat is sold with other countries flags on them all over Thailand. I don't think it's intentional, I just think that like leftists they are oblivious to their double standards. -
Opinion Russian Teacher to Thais: Drop ‘Farang’ if 'Ni Hao' Offends

Here's my take on it. 1. It is not generally intended as a sign of disrespect. 2. They do however know many foreigners do not like it. 3. They use it anyway. -
He does seem awfully quiet about the trans verdict. Haven't heard a peep. One wonders if he doesn't approve. Or perhaps he still trying to work it out? He does seem awfully confused. Maybe he's still waiting for the return of the sausages. https://news.sky.com/story/keir-starmer-says-99-9-of-women-havent-got-a-penis-as-he-faces-questions-over-trans-rights-12848438

Opinion Russian Teacher to Thais: Drop ‘Farang’ if 'Ni Hao' Offends
JonnyF replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Got me wondering, do French/German people get offended when Thai people greet them with "Hello" as opposed to Bonjour or Guten Tag? -
Yes, Lucy Connolly was a white Conservative and Ricky Jones was a Labour ethnic Minority. Completely different. The crimes were similar in nature (although Jones was far worse IMO) yet we have completely different treatment for the 2 individuals under Britian's 2 tier justice system. Court records? Let me know when Ricky Jones goes to trial. 😆 Lucy Connolly was arrested, charged and convicted to 2 years 8 months within a week. Jones still walks free. But then, he's not a white conservative.

Nicknames for different races are only offensive when white people do it. Everyone knows that.- 365 replies

Online Sales of ‘Refugee Boats’ by Chinese Firms, Shameless
JonnyF replied to Social Media's topic in World News
The Chinese now make some good products, but I'm not sure I'd be getting in a dinghy from Alibaba. -
Stephen A. Smith and the Search for a Democratic Trump
JonnyF replied to Social Media's topic in World News
I'm not sure that someone who made a career screaming about Basketball is exactly what The Democrats need but hey, can't be worse than cackling Kamala. -
This was the most disturbing for me. Dunn literally asked what would happen when immigrants come to a town near you. He posed a question on social media. Jail time. The left wing elites are so determined to push ahead with their flawed immigration policy that they are jailing people who criticize it in an attempt to silence dissent. And they are releasing serious offenders to make room in the jails for them, many of whom have reoffended. It's shameful. It's reminiscent of China. No wonder Reeves wants to cozy up to them, that, it seems is the blueprint for Britain under Labour.

Labour have been a complete disaster. A joke. Worse than anyone could have imagined. So many people who voted for them as a protest against the Tories must be regretting their decision to leap out of the frying pan and into the fire. Now that people despise both Labour AND the Tories, Reform are likely to do very well.

Looks like the bar scene in Star Wars. 😆 The fact that a supreme court ruling was required just shows how far Britain has fallen. Starmer must be confused by all this, I wonder if he finally knows what a woman is?

Harvard Becomes Resistance HQ in Trump’s Campus Culture War
JonnyF replied to Social Media's topic in World News
That's the trouble with DEI policies for entrants, you end up with a prestigious University like Harvard full of left wing nutters who shouldn't even be there. Then they start believing their own silly ideas because they "qualified" for Harvard. Case in point, David Lammy.- 10 replies

What's wrong with Pelosi, Walz, Harris etc? 😆 On second thoughts, maybe it is time to "TURN THE PAGE". -
You asked for evidence so I provided it. How many examples did you need? Around 8% of cases in that period were by trans women despte them being less than a fraction of a percent of the female prison population. I'd imagine you'd change your tune if your daughter was sexually assaulted a whole 6 times by a bloke in a skirt while in protective custody. Then again maybe you wouldn't.

Trump can Pave Way for Lasting Immigration Reform after Border Success
JonnyF replied to Social Media's topic in World News
Thanks. I do indeed consider protecting borders, acknowledging biological sex and protecting women from cross dressing men to be normal. I don't wish to inhabit your imagined debauched utopia.
