BBC Admits Failure to Act on Tim Westwood’s Misconduct
JonnyF replied to Social Media's topic in World News
Of course they recognized it. They just refused to act. Same as they did with Saville, Harris, Edwards etc. There should be a 1km radius around the BBC's offices where children are not allowed to go. The place is a cesspit of Paedos and anti-semites. -
Of course she has. She's got everything else completely wrong. Why break the habit of a lifetime? A very damaged individual.

UK Energy Bills Set to Rise Again in April, Sparking Concern
JonnyF replied to Social Media's topic in World News
Same as all the other lies he told. To get elected. The "20 Billion black hole" was then created to justify doing the opposite of everything he promised. -
UK Energy Bills Set to Rise Again in April, Sparking Concern

They are quite prepared to set up Great British Energy to build and manage huge renewable energy projects. They could just as easily set up a state owned oil company. Like many other countries do. Like China did with Sinopec. But they won't. Because of their stupid net zero fantasy. Shorter term they could make energy bills cheaper by stopping giving billions in aid to foreign countries and use the money to reduce taxes on energy like the Climate Change Levy. But they won't. Because of their stupid net zero fantasy. -

The UK has it's own oil and gas reserves. Forget net zero and drill baby drill. -

Does Apple need the type of people who can't justify their position or even respond to an email? -

Indeed. His fate will be the same. A disasterous single term followed by a crushing defeat. Unfortunately (or perhaps fortunately) Starmer is too stupid to see that. -

More evidence that the UK's energy strategy is doomed to failure. What a miserable country it has become under Labour. -
Another bottom of the table clash tonight/tomorrow morning. Ipswich are poor so it's a good chance (and their last) for United to finally get a league win in February.

Could the next two games could decide the title?
JonnyF replied to Stiddle Mump's topic in Football forum
Arsenal slipped up again. Imagine if they get close, they'll definitely bottle it. It's all over IMO. It will be good to see Liverpool win it in a non Covid season. The last one felt a bit flat. -
Democratic Donors Withhold Support Amid Party Uncertainty
JonnyF replied to Social Media's topic in World News
I'm not sure I'd be donating to a party that spent 1.5 Billion in 15 weeks, much of it wasted on celebrity endorsements and then still got destroyed at the ballot box. https://www.nytimes.com/2024/11/17/us/politics/harris-campaign-finances.html
