My good buddy Elon would say Mars... 😃 -
Had red flags placed along the beach to inform all not to go into the water as the conditions were dangerous. Sounds just like snow skiers going under the ropes, skiing the out-of-bounds areas hoping to get into some deep fresh powder but only triggering avalanches and killing themselves and/or others. ⛷️

I tried the True Money wallet

I did. I mentioned going into a True store and topping up. Easy to find a True store, you do have a connection to the Internet, don't you? Besides, I wasn't the one that said ONLY 7-11. -
Yes, when there are nice wide sidewalks they are typically cluttered with items the stores drag outside during business hours displaying their goods.

To beard or not to beard, that's the question

Not so surprised there's some pretty ugly mugs amongst us. Just surprised they would show themselves. -
Are you for real or just real high?

I agree, but didn't you say it was the ONLY way? "As a foreigner the only way to top it up is to go to a 7/11 with cash and do it there." -

Why not just walk into a True store and top it up there? -

...or floods....hurricanes.....tornados....blizzards....arid areas.... LOL, are you for real? Maybe those in Japan should start migrating to the UK soon? -
I understand with what you are saying and tend to agree but...... .......the location where this picture was taken is actually a pretty major street and as I said a high tourist area. The street is only one lane in each direction but the lanes are big enough to be two....and each side has large parking areas marked off so there's plenty of space to accommodate a nice fat clear sidewalk. BTW, not only is it a tourist area but that sidewalk pictured is right next to a popular temple. .......if the sidewalk was nice and wide it would probably be cluttered at times with vendors. On a positive note, they are removing many of the overhead lines and putting them underground.

Well the area I posted with all the objects impeding a nice clear sidewalk unfortunately is in a high tourist traffic area and it's difficult to maneuver around with other pedestrians. Plus I really don't like the cobwebs hitting me in the face. And as for the florescent bulb, my camera happened to lighten the area when actually it was nearly 7pm when the pic was taken and the area was darker making it harder to see it, as well as any dog chit.

Who says that Thailand is pedestrian friendly? One of the reasons scooter drivers don't ride on the sidewalks. One of the reasons I generally walk carefully, with eyes wide open, on the edge of the streets.

Oh, the other thing that annoys me is when I go to a petrol station such as PTT and the first thing they do is put that magnetic placard on my hood. -

Do you ask them in Thai or English? Besides, even in English there's multiple words for the same thing. EX: Plasterboard, sheetrock, Gypsum board, drywall..... I find it's easiest to show them a picture on your phone. Before the use of mobile phones I used to ask (in Thai) if they speak English as my Thai is definitely limited when it comes to various items. After they hear my question in Thai they would usually all go scurrying off. -

Having tons of staff follow you throughout the store is also a common practice in China. What bugs me is seeing all those standing around playing on phones, or following customers around......but yet when you go to checkout there's only one or two registers of the 10 or 12 that are open. -
I think cooking times and temperatures vary too much due to different Air Fryers and personal tastes. You need to experiment around and see what gives you the best results for your liking. Since I got my Air Fryer I have been keeping notes about cooking the things I like and I have to admit the first go around didn't result the best. But after some tweaking I've gotten these things down pretty good: Grilled cheese sandwich Salmon Steak (Aussie tenderloin) Smores French Toast Veggies Banana Bread For my veggies I only put some items like the potatoes and carrots in the AF first and cook some before adding the other veggies. I will cook at a low temp (160C) and then after 10 minutes I will rotate and cook more before adding the other veggies and increasing the temperature. NOTE: I like my broccoli and cauliflower a little crispy so I'll usually crank the temperature to 200C before stopping.

After purchasing an Air Fryer a few months back I have been doing nothing but using it for veggies. I cut chunks of broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, potatoes, Bell peppers, mushrooms, and onions......place them in a bowl, spray lightly with a little olive oil, and mix well with some seasonings. Easy to do, easy to clean up, healthy, and the fresh crispy taste is awesome (IMO).
