Sure it's well known now but when it first started not many was one the wiser.... That strategy was the forerunner for the subscription process used today by nearly everyone who can. NOTE: There's many ways around everything if you dig hard enough to learn them..... streaming, SW apps, OS licensing.....and heaven forbid, even how to get a Thai Visa Extension without having the required money in the bank...... 😁

Lao Ambulance Collides with 18-Wheeler Truck in Loei, Patient Killed
dingdongrb replied to Georgealbert's topic in Isaan News
Reading isn't too difficult.... "The ambulance, an EMS vehicle from Botene Hospital in Xayaburi Province, Laos, was en route to deliver a patient to a facility in Tha Li, approximately 30 kilometres from its origin." -
Lao Ambulance Collides with 18-Wheeler Truck in Loei, Patient Killed

I've said it many times before, there's 2 things drivers in Thailand fail to do: 1) Yield at pedestrian crosswalks (aka Zebra crossings). 2) Yield the right away to emergency vehicles. On the other hand, the ambulance should have flashing lights and siren going....... "...head on collision....." Sounds like something I've seen occur all too often, over-taking another vehicle when going around a turn or another reason the view is obstructed from seeing oncoming traffic. -
While I do understand and sort of agree with what you are saying I'm also thinking: My polio, smallpox vaccinations as well as a handful of tetanus shots weren't created by my neighbor and expensive.

K bank E-mail with Tax Forms attached ?
dingdongrb replied to offset's topic in Jobs, Economy, Banking, Business, Investments
Let me add.... a reputable company who is knowledgeable with internet security will generate a secured message center within their website and use that place to communicate as well as provide forms. Then they would give you a quick email or PM telling you to check the secure message location. Opening and downloading attachments can be dangerous. -
K bank E-mail with Tax Forms attached ?
dingdongrb replied to offset's topic in Jobs, Economy, Banking, Business, Investments
Back in 2011 Chiang Mai immigration required me to provide a copy of my 1040 tax return to get an extension approval based on marriage. During that time an affidavit using the US Embassy assistance was enough for income verification but that single time for me they also requested my a copy of my 1040... -
K bank E-mail with Tax Forms attached ?

Only a fool with a lot of time to waste would go through those threads.... I will wait to see how and if I'm affected when the time comes. Until it does come it can be anyone's guess what will occur. Even the so-called tax pros have no idea exactly what may or may not occur. -
These are some of my current 'go to' snacks that I enjoy and probably over indulge in. Just give me my snacks and a few bottles of Lao Dark and I'm a happy camper. What are some of your favorite snacks?

Forms? Who in their right mind would open any attachment or link in an email that you personally don't know the sender? Have you not heard of phishing, malware, key-tracker, ransomware as well as many other invasive things... -

'Cold' is more of a personal feeling... to me it's not cold unless it's well below freezing. However some, and most Thais, think it is cold when it's 20C. -
Bangkok Bank web page login - What am I doing wrong.
dingdongrb replied to Custard boy's topic in IT and Computers
I had the exact same issue when I installed the mobile app just last month. I had to actually go into the branch to get the app to work and going home shortly thereafter I attempted to login on my PC like I had done many times before successfully and I couldn't. I can't recall the exact cause but a quick call to Customer Service resolved the issue. Both have been working like a champ since. I suggest to call CS despite having previous poor service. -
Home schooling is now an excuse....can't get any funnier than that... Pssst... I as well as many I know weren't home schooled.

That all sounds nice and peachie but first it starts at home. Teach your children about respect and family values. The world has lost the basics and are glued to their phones too much to actually see with their own eyes with what is going on with the world today.
