    anyway, I just sent her a message and said don't worry about the notice period as the new boss will know that.

I stand by what I said .... you don't discuss a new job in a restaurant and arrange an interview and then say oh ' I can't start for 2 months .... if the 2 months is normal for giving notice then she doesn't need to even mention that as it's normal and the new job boss will know that.

    I agree ... to a certain extent ... but sometimes we know farang with new restaurant that they don't know. she should have told me I cannot start now before I did all the messaging & texting ... and getting an interview. How would that look in the west ? pathetic ... imo

    Er .... normally if someone is looking to get a new job they don't dictate the start date. She should have told me .... I'm looking new job but I cannot start for 2 months.

    no ... she speaks excellent english, and she want to get a now job .... then I arrange an interview because my farang friend has a new restaurant opened 1 week ago ... I am just dumfoundered she didn't tell me before I did everything ......

    There's many barber shops along Sukhumvit that will cut your hair. Just go outside and have a look, otherwise go to the motorbike taxi and he will cut it for 100 baht. Do you need a supermarket for your groceries ?

    doesn't mean it's ok. I'm from the old school where drugs were a big no no. Anyone using drugs is still frowned upon and considered low-lifes. As it should be. imo Society doesn't need drug users.

    well good riddance to sleepy Joe .... his legacy was how could anyone mess up the Afghanistan US military exit ... 14 killed ... why didn't he order a midnight exit with anyone forbidden near the aircraft is beyond me. what a disaster he initiated there. He was far to old to be the president of the United States FGS ....
