    The boat company retain your passport which does not get stamped but you get a paper from the Laos side which is simply a keepsake. Passport returned when you return to Chiang Saen side. The Lao side is more of a special administrative zone and is mainly shops.

    Plenty of people will I guess. They are already travelling, 3 families we actually know are returning early January from the mainland. Hongkongers are making over 4,000 tours to Japan over the Christmas/New Year holidays. And the Thailand tourist industry needs any boosts it can get.

    Plenty of adverts / websites still around offering education and self defense visas so I guess most it is just hot air.

    Actually "Have done several times as POSSESSOR" Do you think he may be referring to the immigration TM30 online submission service and not the new private app I have referred to or am I just dumb? I would be surprised if he has used this new app several times? Or maybe I am just dumb.

    Back to the actual question. Anyone used tm30 .io to submit their TM30 applications? It is a private website for submitting TM30's. TM30 before the . , IO after the . I see somebody checked it out but did not proceed.

    Same thing, but as we both have individual accounts also it was no problem.
