It's called the heat index and with the humidity makes it feel much hotter. My large central air handler for the main living room has been struggling to cool down the inside of the house since we returned home from Bangkok. Just started to finally catch up. The extra stress on the unit from the heat and humidity does seem to be creating minor issues. inside the house it is finally a cool 28.3......ugh

Stay hydrated is the key. Now that the hot weather is here we carry our water packs with us when we go out. They start out as frozen, but by the time we need water it is just cool water.....33c now feels like 44c....ugh.

Possibly, but with those having arrived already tonight will be a party night. Drove through the beach front road to Pranburi beach, it looks like a ghost town. Few vendors out, my guess is they have gone home to wherever. Head to Krabi on Friday morning, let's see what traffic looks like then and if there will be checkpoints. I know foolish to be driving, yet I have logged over 100,000 km'sin the past few years.

Just drove from BKK to HH saw two checkpoints set-up, and no one manning them, maybe the all-day checks do not start until after midday.

A lessor can only make changes to the Land with the approval of the land owner/leesor. This however must be written o to the lease agreement which would then be registered at the Land office. Should the leese make unapproved changes to the Land then the leesor could sue for damages and also invalidate the lease. However, if the tree becomes a hazard and myst be removed then it may be a moot point. A good lawyer should be able to assist with the issue.
