  1. and those who live in a partisan bubble. You mean all the MAGA cult members?
  2. He didn’t sidestep this question: when asked if he would become a dictator, Trump answered he will be a dictator on the first day. Dictators usually abuse their power, that’s why they are called dictators. So his supporters may want to be careful what they wish for. Trump is planning mass deportations, and locking millions of people up in ‘re-education’ camps, and/or in mental asylums. Who is to say who is going to be deported, or locked up? https://www.meidastouch.com/news/trump-said-he-will-be-a-dictator-on-day-1-dodges-abuse-of-power-question
  3. Not only did he retain boxes containing classified documents, even after he was subpoenaed to return them and his lawyers had signed a document that everything was indeed returned, which turned out to be a blatant lie. According to several witnesses, Trump himself ordered his staff to take the classified documents, even though his lawyers had informed him more than once that that was illegal. I would call that aggravating circumstances.
  4. And again the orcs show their true nature and intentions. This evil empire needs to be stopped.
  5. “You can lead a horse to water, but you can not make it drink” In other words, you can present facts and evidence to MAGA cult members until you’re blue in the face, they will simply reject it and keep holding on to their alternative facts and continue to live in their la-la-land reality.
  6. I suggest sir, your love/devotion/adulation/worship for Trump has so totally obscured your ability to look objectively that you are prepared to twist yourself and your brain into a pretzel to defend your idol.
  7. There has been unequal treatment all right: for a long time, Trump has been handled with kid gloves. Anyone else doing the things Trump did would have been in jail for years. So Trump probably thought he was untouchable, seeing as how he got away with so many things other people would never get away with, but finally justice is catching up with him now. Nothing political about that.
  8. Wasn’t he going to introduce a ‘much better’ health care plan while he was president, and the GOP had control of both the House and the Senate? Hmm, I wonder what happened there. Like almost everything Trump says and claims and promises, it’s just hot air, empty promises, tooting his own horn, taking credit for things he had nothing to do with, blaming everybody and their uncle for things he himself was responsible for, or just flat out lies. I still can not believe or even comprehend that he is the GOP front runner. Lock him up, lock him up, lock him up!!!
  9. Are they going to fire every cop on Phuket? Fire the governor for not doing his job? Ban all the tuktuk and taxi drivers? Ban all the jetski operations? Because all that would surely mean a serious blow to criminality on Phuket.
  10. That would probably be just the tip of the iceberg, of assets that are actually in his name. How about looking into the wealth of his extended family, like wife, children, in-laws and such? And I wouldn’t be surprised if he had a couple of anonymous overseas bank accounts as well….
  11. The PM being nepotistic and abusing his power. Gee, what a shocker. Yawn….
  12. MAGA disciples wouldn’t recognize the truth/facts/reality if it smacked them in the face.
  13. What kind of teacher hits a student on the head? And repeatedly, apparently? Madness. Do the same to this teacher a few times (the parents of the girl involved would want to volunteer, I guess) and I’m sure the hitting will stop right away. Sometimes the age-old concept of ‘an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth’ works wonders. Teachers like this are usually cowards who need to be taken down a peg or two.
  14. What you don’t seem to understand is that on this forum you’re required to provide evidence/proof (i.e. at least one link from a credible source) when you make outrageous claims. Saying ‘do your own research’ is laughable, it doesn’t work like that.
  15. The rainy season has hardly ended and the morons start burning again. Already figures in purple, PM10 values of 243 and 199. I dread to think what this map will look like in March/April, the whole north of Thailand will probably be screwed. And still the only thing the government does is pass another Act, and continue to sit on their thumbs. There’s no money to be made, so they do nothing.
  16. Aaww, the Chinese are getting their feelings hurt when foreign media report (the truth) about Taiwan. For a nation that’s aspiring to be the number one super power in the world they sure are a bunch of crybabies.
  17. Delay, obfuscate, blame everybody else and their uncle, attack the judge and DA, intimidate witnesses, try to contaminate the jury pool, and most of all: throw massive temper tantrums. PS: almost forgot: never, ever take responsibility for your own actions.
  18. The problem is that if they get their way, the rest of us are going to have to live with that as well, and try to deal with the fall-out. Which will be huge.
  19. Danderman already posted a link, but here’s another one: https://www.meidastouch.com/news/weaponizing-the-doj-against-his-political-foes-is-a-recurring-theme-of-trumps-speeches The big difference is (@Longwood) that the current indictments against Trump are legitimate ones, because there’s ample evidence that he broke the law in quite a few instances. So no weaponization of the DOJ or the federal government there. What Trump is planning to do when he becomes president again is to indict his political opponents (or anyone else that he perceives to be an ‘enemy’, for that matter) on trumped up charges. No pun intended. That is the very definition of weaponization of the DOJ.
  20. Donald Trump promised America he would only hire the best people to work for him. Alina Habba, Trump’s lead defense attorney (the one who forgot to check the ‘jury trial’ box) embarrasses herself by objecting to evidence she herself introduced. https://www.newsweek.com/alina-habba-mocked-fraud-trial-ivanka-trump-document-1842241 🤣🤣🤣
  21. Or, we could point out the truth, like us TDS survivors tried to do: that she is a highly prejudiced MAGA nut and election denier, with her nose firmly wedged up Donald Trump’s butt.
  22. Not the usual 1,000 baht slap on the wrist, a few wai’s and apologies, but a hefty fine that will really hurt his wallet, plus ample compensation for the women. And a ban to ever own/operate a business again. Maybe a few weeks in jail would also be warranted.
  23. And not just any Republican: she’s a hardcore, all-in Trumper and MAGA cult member.
  24. You are aware of Trump’s one and only reason to want to become president again, aren’t you? Because he’s made it abundantly clear that when he does, his only goal is to go after everybody who ever so much as looked funny at him. And he’s going to use (i.e. abuse) all the might of the federal government to accomplish his goal. No weaponization of the federal government there, right?
