Taylor Swift Celebrated for Pride Month Message During 'Eras Tour'
Berkshire replied to Social Media's topic in World News
She's not the only Biden supporter among the elite celebs, so yeah, hope they all come out for khun Joe before the election. Who does Trump have? Ted Nugent and Kid Rock? 55555 -
Do Thai men get jealous we take all the hot women?
Berkshire replied to MalcolmB's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
Yes, people do mix in like company. But the point is that most Thai women will grow up with the dreams of settling down with a good Thai man. It's not necessarily about looks, education, or even wealth. It's about personality....which is mostly tied to language and cultural similarities. Once the women get older--and if their prospects are dim--they may venture outside of this cultural norm to chase foreigners.....which includes not only farangs, but Koreans, Japanese, Chinese, etc. Every single Thai women I've ever dated (and we're talking hundreds if not thousands) have been with a Thai man. It's usually when that doesn't pan out that they would be open to dating foreigners. -

Agree. I'm guessing the OP is in Pattaya or Phuket....which aren't anything like the rest of Thailand. If the OP really thinks Thai women prefer farangs, then all of the best and brightest would be seeking out farangs all over Thailand. But they're not. It's pretty rare to see a Thai movie/TV/music star with a farang, and these are the kinds of girls that could have most anybody. It seems only the single mothers, poor, less educated, from dysfunctional families, less attractive/desirable, etc. are prone to chase farangs. But fret not, there's still a decent pool of Thai females out there for everybody. It's just silly that the OP wants to make some rather asinine assumptions that are simply not true. -
A significant number of Americans will do what Geoff Duncan is doing. Duncan, by the way, is the former Lt. Gov. of Georgia, a Republican, and lifelong conservative. [“This November, I am voting for a decent person I disagree with on policy over a criminal defendant without a moral compass,” he wrote, adding that Trump has “disqualified himself through his conduct and his character.”] https://www.yahoo.com/news/former-gop-official-hits-wailing-083738250.html

Trump found guilty of 34 counts of falsifying business records
Berkshire replied to webfact's topic in World News
A Trump fan criticizing others for lying....Lordy. Isn't that why you support him? Trump is the GLOAT....Greatest Liar of All Time. No one even comes close. -
Perhaps Trump should end his campaign. America should not have a convicted felon as POTUS. Nevermind the optics, but there's a long list of reasons why. Heck, he can't even travel overseas to some countries as a convicted felon.... [Donald Trump may face travel restrictions with his newfound felon status, potentially complicating his presidency if he were to win another term in office. Thirty-eight nations, counting the United States, bar felons from entry, according to World Population Review. Those bans stand regardless of whether someone is allowed to retain their passport after conviction. Countries that turn felons away include several of the United States' strongest allies, like the United Kingdom, Australia and Canada — the final of which will host the G7 summit of world leaders in 2025. The list also includes a number of nations at the center of pressing foreign policy issues, such as China, Israel and Mexico.] https://www.yahoo.com/news/donald-trump-banned-37-countries-144904689.html

Yes, I did get an e-mail from the US Embassy (American Citizens Services Unit) indicating that they received my package and it was being processed. I'd imagine at that point, they would have told me if something was missing or in error. But once the process is complete and your passport was being issued, no more e-mails. You can track it on the ThailandPost website though.

Trump found guilty of 34 counts of falsifying business records
Berkshire replied to webfact's topic in World News
My understanding is that a POTUS is automatically granted the highest levels of security clearance. It comes with the job. But if he were incarcerated....not sure how that would work. -

Berkshire replied to webfact's topic in World News
And of course, you have proof of this? Trump has lost just about every case he's been involved with, because courts are about the law and evidence. On the other hand, the US House has been using "Lawfare" for months going after President Biden. They've got nothing. But I'm sure you see no problem with that. -

Pope Francis Allegedly Uses Derogatory Term for Gay People
Berkshire replied to Social Media's topic in World News
I don't pay much attention to what the Pope says. But isn't the church traditionally against gay marriage, abortion, premarital sex, divorce....etc., etc.? My feeling is...whatever. -
Yes you can. I did. I paid the $130 with a US credit card, and the Courier Pass Back with my Thai credit card. You can go to this website, but you'll need to register to be able to purchase (https://www.thailandpostmart.com/product/1013460000929). They have several options to pay, if I recall. I did try to pay at the Post Office, but the counter staff didn't know much about it. The supervisor suggested it could only be done online. As for your photo, any photo shop should know what a US passport photo requires. I went to a shop at Mee Chok plaza (near the Rim Ping) and just told them I needed US passport photos. Didn't have to mention the size, white background, none of that. They knew.

I'm sure you know judges don't indict criminals. -
Trump Booed at Libertarian Convention ‘No wannabe dictators!’
Berkshire replied to Social Media's topic in World News
I don't get how you guys think. Trump has been indicted for multiple crimes because he committed multiple crimes. If you think Trump has been treated unfairly, then you are part of the cult. Just own up to it.- 90 replies

This thread could have been interesting except some knuckleheads decided to get political. Be that as it may, I'm not a believer in conspiracy theories. But one that has been gnawing at me for awhile is the one about electric vehicles (EVs). It goes that EVs could have been rolled out in the early 1970's (in the US), but it was killed by the oil companies and auto manufacturers. This is all behind-the-scene stuff, but it certainly makes sense.

Trump only wants her supporters. He's not too happy about her being mean to him, doubtful she'll ever be an insider again. Haley has become so disgustingly political, it's sad to watch. Her supporters may never support her again.... [By announcing her intention to vote for Donald Trump for president, Nikki Haley did the most Nikki Haley thing possible: She caved to Trump and depressed every conservative Never Trumper who pulled the lever for her.] https://www.thedailybeast.com/nikki-haley-bends-the-knee-to-trump-humiliates-all-her-supporters?ref=wrap

Trump Booed at Libertarian Convention ‘No wannabe dictators!’
Berkshire replied to Social Media's topic in World News
Trump is so desperate to win in November that he's making all sorts of fake promises to not only libertarians, but blacks, Latinos, suburban women, and all manner of demographics that's not MAGA (read most of America). I'm pretty sure most Americans can see through the lies.- 90 replies

Up Dated: Trump Agrees to Biden's Invite For a Presidential Debate
Berkshire replied to Social Media's topic in World News
Obviously. Only a Trump cult member would think otherwise. Have you seen Trump blabbering lately? Aside from lying non-stop, the guy goes off on crazy, incoherent gibberish. Trump's brain is declining rapidly....not that there was much there to begin with.
