USA Passport Renewal By Post report
Berkshire replied to Skeptic7's topic in US & Canada Topics and Events
Just wanted to report that I too just received my new passport, almost to the day one month after sending my package to the US Embassy. Very efficient. They sent me an e-mail to confirm receipt of my package and I was able to track my new passport once it left BKK (by Thai post). They even sent back my old passport. All in all, very smooth and painless. Well done ACSU US Embassy. -
RFK Jr. argues that Biden is a bigger threat to democracy than Trump
Berkshire replied to Social Media's topic in World News
From what you're saying, it appears RFK Jr. appeals to many Trump supporters. Which would make him more of a threat to Trump. Duly noted.- 317 replies

I should have shorted the snot out of this stock. But apparently, the pros were already all over it like stink on sh*t... [According to The New York Times, Trump Media is currently the most shorted stock on Wall Street.] https://www.thedailybeast.com/trump-loses-dollar1-billion-as-his-media-companys-stock-plunges?ref=wrap

Blow to Biden as poll shows Trump in lead for 2024 presidential election
Berkshire replied to CharlieH's topic in World News
It was that way in 2020, don't think that will hold up in 2024. Trump has gotten way too crazy....not to mention indictments up the ying yang. -
Obama, Fearing Biden Loss to Trump, Is on the Phone to Strategize
Berkshire replied to Social Media's topic in World News
It may well be Republicans who can save us from Trump.... [One of the newest players on the 2024 scene are “Republican Voters Against Trump.” Who are just what they profess to be: Republicans. Who once voted for Trump. And whose mission now is to convince fellow former Trump voters never to vote for him again – and, hopefully, to vote for Joe Biden.] [Significantly, their ranks include many former members of Trump’s White House, starting with Vice President Mike Pence. But also: Chiefs of Staff John Kelly and Mick Mulvaney; National Security Advisers HR McManus and John Bolton; Defense Secretaries James Mattis and Mike Esper; Chairman of the Joint Chiefs Mark Milley; Deputy White House Press Secretary Sarah Matthews; and Executive Assistant Cassidy Hutchinson, among others. Their message is: We served close to Donald Trump. We know him well. And to know him is to loathe him.] https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/opinion/bill-press-riding-to-the-rescue-republicans-may-save-us-from-trump/ar-BB1kHwmr?cvid=453d368e6cf74da388701850069c591f&ei=15 -
MTG is doing Trump's bidding. That is, to make sure the Congress accomplishes nothing between now and the election. Government shutdown? Love it. No bills to address the border? Yeap. Nothing for Ukraine, Gaza, and Israel? Why of course. In her/Trump's pea-brain, if Congress does nothing, Biden will get blamed. Except all of America can see what's happening. Even the Speaker, himself a far righter, is trying to govern a little bit. Useless toads like MTG have no business being in the Congress. All she wants to do is make some noise and fundraise off it.

ssa.gov web site not letting me access.
Berkshire replied to earlinclaifornia's topic in US & Canada Topics and Events
I just got in a couple of days ago, just normal access, no VPN. Why do you guys have to use a VPN? -
I was thinking the same thing. This stock is going to be shorted to death in the next few months. The underlying company has next to nothing in revenue, consistently loses money, and has a low subscriber base that's shrinking. But like any momo stock, it can move for no rational reason. If Trump loses the election, it's going to zero. But if he wins, it could skyrocket....in the short term. Once the professional traders (and Trump) gets out, the rest (mostly Trump supporters) will be left holding the bag.

I have enjoyed my time in Thailand, but...
Berkshire replied to bob smith's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
Funny. Certain people--i.e., the malcontents--have been predicting this forever. Yet, more and more expats keep coming. Truth is Thailand isn't for everybody. The ones who love it here don't spend their waking hours whining/whinging on AN. -
Trump wins last-minute reprieve as judge cuts fraud bond to $175m
Berkshire replied to Social Media's topic in World News
So you're one of those who believes every lie out of Trump's mouth. Sad! By the way, "the public" is not siding with Trump, only his supporters. -
So that's were all the Hot women hang out!

Vladimir Putin begins Operation Blame Ukraine
Berkshire replied to Social Media's topic in World News
Putin's propaganda machine of misinformation will be working overtime on this one. He might even manufacture some evidence to tie it to Ukraine. They'll be zero real evidence. And sadly, some in the west will believe it. -
Donald Trump's hush-money trial to begin 15 April
Berkshire replied to Social Media's topic in World News
Agree. Regardless of what these polls say, I cannot/will not believe that a majority of Americans don't know that Trump is a corrupt, incompetent, immoral, lying conman. It's just not possible. -
Donald Trump's hush-money trial to begin 15 April
Berkshire replied to Social Media's topic in World News
Who do you think will decide this election? Independents and moderates of course. As amazing as it may sound, there are still some people who are undecided. -

Donald Trump's hush-money trial to begin 15 April
Berkshire replied to Social Media's topic in World News
So this trial will be ongoing throughout the election cycle, most likely with wall-to-wall coverage in the national media. Let's see what this trial is all about...Trump paying off a porn star so the news of his cheating--which occurred while his wife had just given birth--won't get out. Yeah, this should go over well with suburban women. -
Trump wins last-minute reprieve as judge cuts fraud bond to $175m
Berkshire replied to Social Media's topic in World News
"Correct decision." So these leftist commie Democrats made the right decision? Could it be that these courts and prosecutors have been following the law from the beginning? Nevermind. By the way, the $464 billion hasn't gone away, only the amount of the bond to allow an appeal. -
Biden campaign tests Trump’s name-calling strategy with ‘Broke Don’

Why don't you ever criticize Trump for the "childish name calling?" -
Biden campaign tests Trump’s name-calling strategy with ‘Broke Don’
Berkshire replied to Social Media's topic in World News
I prefer "Don the Con," but it seems "Don Poorleone" is trending.... [“There’s a reason why I think some people are calling Donald Trump ‘Don Poorleone’ right now,” referencing “The Godfather” and its famous mafia leader Don Vito Corleone.] https://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/people-call-trump-don-poorleone-221931151.html -
Every single piece of this "evidence" that you speak of, when further investigated, revealed that it was nonsensical cr*p. I can't believe anyone still believes this stuff. Surely, if true evidence were out there--along with whoever was responsible--the right wing media would be all over it. After 3+ years, still nothing.

Stormy Daniels Admits She Exposed Trump to ‘Save My Own Ass’
Berkshire replied to Social Media's topic in World News
Yeah, the GOP used to be the party of "family values." Not anymore. These evangelicals will sell their souls cheap.
