See penelope advise Thai golf website.
If you only play about 2 rounds why to travel around with your (heavy) golf bag.?
Most courses do have clubs rent possibilities.
caddy tip between 100 and 200 baht.
Be prepared for a lot of water on the flat courses .
Pak Chong (180 km north-east of BKK) has some hills.
many hotels offer golf day trip but they are rather expensive.
phone the course and ask for opening times (many are closed on monday!).Ask when sport day tariff apply (very cheap) and arrange a private taxi for the part of the day.
Great fun

I found your reaction too negative.
I am planning my retirement already long time and I am well aware of the positive and negative(like everywhere in the world).
I am just a member like you.Banning is not in my vocabulary.
If people become too personal (insulting or so) I simply don't react any more.
May be because I am 61 years old and 27 years married , I accept certain aspects of life.
The world is not black or white.Enjoy life

anamore,
you not really answer to the topic question.
However your observations of the forum reactions are nice.
It is like always in life neither black nor white with a lot of greys!

What a future!
finish work in July .That is positive but can hardly been a long career.
In Pattaya you will teach your GF how to drive.
UK, no option you have trouble there, but you would not have a chance.See forum reactions!
Spain as explained by LC no chance to bring your GF.
Timeshare has a criminal element attached to it!!(your statement)
Europe is really waiting for you.

Bring order in your own life before you drag somebody into it

Shipping Furniture To Thailand
in General Topics
Hi Jeff1,
Just take a professional international moving company.
They know what and how to do.
They will provide you with a lot of information and rules and regulations if you ask for a door to door quotation.
I just had some talks with Crown/Santa fe-Silverhawk/Kotaisan for my future move.
May be pay some more but have a lot of worries less.
