  1. Not enough. Miracles are out of fashion nowadays.
  2. I think it is there in the post above yours.
  3. I thought that but I went to Settings, Themes and there it is. However it is laughing at me as I try to remove it. I had to go to Background, select Picture, choose the Blue Windows background picture and select that. That cleared my problem. Thank you. My next problem is to find enough stupid glue to stick back the hair I tore out trying to delete it.
  4. I scanned my Certificate of Life form onto my pc this evening. Now I have the first page showing on the desktop and I cannot delete it. It doesn't seem to be an icon, a file or a folder so I cannot delete it in the normal way. It appears to be larger that the screen itself, so I cannot shrink it and then delete it. It will not move up or down the screen, but just sits there lurking. I even tried a system restore to an earlier time but the system restore did not complete. I think I have done a Snip and Sketch and saved it to my desktop. Does anybody have any idea how to remove it?
  5. scallywaggery what a lovely term. I wish I had thought of it.
  6. The problem will come if they believe that they can manage the fallout, pull the plug, and then realise that they can't actually manage the fallout. If that happens, then they will not be able to put the genie back in the bottle.
  7. I would hope that the research firm required paying in advance. If they waited for payments until after the report they may be stuck in a long queue and possibly out of pocket.
  8. That was my thumbs up. It took 5 words plus this, instead of my name on the emoticon.
  9. I did know that but it is coming from the corrupted RTP themselves, which is the irony. They get their funds from the government.
  10. Well it seems to me that he has stuck a big stick into the hornets' nest of the RTP and wiggled it around. What seems to me, at least, to have happened is that the RTP are now having to admit to things that they would really prefer to be swept under the carpet, never to see the light of day again. I cannot comment on how he thinks of himself as I have never met him. He does not seem to lack for a few baht, and the delicious irony for me is that he gets a reward from the RTP as a whistle blower, for exposing them.
  11. https://www.gov.uk/ Be prepared to do some deep digging. IMHO it needs to be a UK citizen to tunnel their way into the relevant information. Unless a Thai wife is completely fluent in reading, writing and speaking English, they will get lost in the morass of civil service speak. AFAIK the only way for a Thai wife to get a UK state pension is to be living in the UK with her UK husband, and paying NI contributions in her own name. Company pensions to widows vary from pension provider. The UK State pension is paid one month in arrears.
  12. It is getting as bad as the Thai government with so many emoji flip flops. Yesterday it was bad, today it is OK, next week who knows?
  13. Probably cheaper than buying spare parts.
  14. Then all he has to do is come back to Thailand to stand trial and be found innocent or guilty.
  15. Well Thanathorn Juangroongruangkit was the leader of the Future Forward Party and he was stripped of his MP status by dubious methods at the last "free and fair election". The Future Forward Party was disbanded through that decision and over 6 million young electors lost their vote and their voice. The EC went even further and broke their own rules on how many votes a political party needed to gain a party list MP. Quote from your post "Unfortunately you tend to get the government and leaders you deserve and that's the point in this case, effectively you reap what you sow". Sadly the Thai people did NOT get the government that they deserve at the last election. I sincerely hope that the next election will be far harder for the current government, the EC and the Judiciary to manipulate and I truly hope that the un-elected senate is shut down and a new, elected by the people, Senate is put in place.
  16. Try reading a different set of news, or do you read only anti president Biden biased news? https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-64605447 Speaking at the White House on Friday, Mr Kirby said the debris field of the object shot down on Friday was "much, much smaller" than the balloon shot down last Saturday off the coast of South Carolina. He said that the object was flying at 40,000ft (12,000m) over the northern coast of Alaska. It had already flown across Alaska at a speed of 20 to 40mph (64km/h) and was out over the sea travelling towards the North Pole, when it was shot down. Commercial airlines can fly as high as 45,000ft. Helicopters and transport aircraft have been deployed to collect debris from the frozen waters of the Beaufort Sea. https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2023/2/10/us-says-it-shot-down-high-altitude-object-over-alaska
  17. Don't forget to say thank you to Anutin, for not allowing school children to buy or use marijuana.
  18. IMHO if he is removed in any unethical way there will be a torrent of stuff coming from websites, MSM and social media that will bury the current "management" and there will be no way to turn the tap off. Again IMHO I think that Chuwit has told so many people including the one at the very top what will happen if anything "unforeseen" should happen to him.
  19. ????
  20. The upside to that is that 6 months ago the prisons in Russia had a clear out. The downside for many was death or serious injury. The real downside is that the survivors are no longer in jail, they have learnt new killing skills, and they are legally free to return to where they committed the crimes in the first place.

  22. You are biased and have no idea about real life. Please do not bother to reply to this as I find you ill mannered, boring and a possessor of a very simple one track mind This is where I need the laughter emoticon and you need to read my posts slowly and carefully. If you cannot then there is no hope for you.
