That is certainly not strictly correct, in rural Kamphaeng Phet where more and more Thais stop wearing them on a daily/weekly basis.

Whilst I carry a mask when I am out, I only wear it in the banks and shopping malls. I haven't worn one in 7/11 for ages and nobody has objected or edged away from me.

Justice, political satisfactions and lessons that must be learned

To be fair to Thaksin, he did make a declaration of his wealth, even if he did lie. OTOH, Prayuth has refused point blank to do so. Prayuth's advantage is that he has friends in higher places than Thaksin ever did. But that cannot and will not last forever. -

Of course it was the dogs fault or that of the owner, who of course would never admit to it. You need to face reality. -

You are the sad one. A 15 year old is dead because of a soi dog. Proton is absolutely correct in his post. There are literally millions of soi dogs running free in Thailand. They are a pest, a health hazard and a general hazard and need exterminating and NOT spaying, snipping or feeding. -

I have just snipped the KBank Forex rate GBP/THB for the last 7 days. On Monday it sank like a stone and by yesterday it was back to the previous weeks levels. Odd that, innit? -
Mystery leaks hit Russian undersea gas pipelines to Europe

Does it not occur to you that the leaders of EVERY country in the world do not really know, in depth, every subject that they have to deal with? They ALL have advisers who they call on for each subject, and the advisers, who do know their subject intimately, will then give advice and opinions to the leaders and their cabinets. Then there will be a discussion at cabinet level (way above your grade and mine), and a decision will be made. So it is NOT a case of the POTUS getting up one morning and saying, let us blow up the pipeline (the subject under discussion) or invade country X, Y or Z. I know from your posts that you could never do President Biden's job, nor could I, or the millions of other ordinary people, yet you keep blaming President Biden for anything and everything. You have no facts and no idea of what is going on, so you reply with links and quotes. So do I, but what we sometimes forget is that most of the reports and links are only the reporters opinions and may not resemble the truth. -
Biden’s APEC no-show seen as a blow to Thai government’s credibility

You do have a nasty bias against him. Why would he need to know where Koh Samui is? Then again, I doubt that you are are capable of doing his job anyway. -

And that saved how many millions of lives? IF, and it is a big IF, Putin does push the button, depending on what sort of weapon is used, will depend on the response returned. If a battlefield tactical weapon is used then the allies would probably use the same. IF Putin uses an ICBM, then the majority of, at least European Russia will cease to exist as we know it today. It also depends on the lower ranking generals and the troops below them who know that they are already targeted so they possibly may ignore the order. IMHO and it is only my personal opinion is that Putin has completely lost the plot and is certifiably insane and off his trolley. -
I bought mine at the local pharmacy and they called it an ATK kit. Stuffing the cotton wool covered stick up my nose made my eyes water and I wanted to sneeze. Other than that they are not expensive and are easy to use and read.

Perhaps he is happier in the company of his family rather than that of coup makers and countries leaders, who speak different things out of both sides of their their mouths. As for ASEAN, all they are is an expensive talking shop. They have NEVER been a doing shop. They must always end in a face saving compromise. If Thailand wants to support China or the USA it is up to them. What they cannot do is support both China and the USA equally. It has to be one side, or the other, or neither. IMHO, the time for fence sitting is over. -

Actually there is no "WE", but there is you, and if you believe that you are speaking of most people worldwide, then you are completely wrong. You are certainly not speaking for me. The only lessons that EX president Trump could give is how to spin 30,xxx lies in 4 years, and how to lose an election. -

A link to the ships of the Ukrainian Navy. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_active_Ukrainian_Navy_ships I am not sure how a Ukrainian Navy could sail undetected by anybody. It would have to sail through the Black Sea, through the Bospherus Straights, Istanbul, through the sea of Marmara, into the Mediterranean sea, through the Straights of Gibraltar, into the Atlantic, the Bay of Biscay, and either through the English Channel into the North Sea, or around Ireland and back into the North Sea, through the Straights of Denmark and then into the Baltic Sea. The Ukraine doesn't actually have ANY submarines or depot ships so they would have to use surface ships along with supply ships and it would take a fair amount of time to get there. Not to mention applying for permissions from various countries whose waters they would travel through.
