  1. I just tested it but it doesn't allow me to connect to 3BB at Bangkok.
  2. Thank you and please thank your friend for me also. After going in circles I eventually managed to find it. The first shot is where it is and the second makes it a bit clearer. It supposedly is 1 Gbps though for some reason it does not reach that speed, probably as the Ethernet device in the pc needs a hardware upgrade. As I am on the 3BB network I would tend to assume that that would be the path they use, certainly down to Bangkok. Which path it takes from the to the URLs is anybody's guess.
  3. Proof, ex President Trump, is much better than words coming from a serial liar, otherwise it is just bluster, again from you,
  4. I use the IO at Kamphaeng Phet and for the last several years I have been using my son's birth certificate (in both Thai and English) and that was all that was needed. Hopefully this year and next month it should be OK. If not then I will let the IO (a very helpful lady) sort it out with my wife while I just sit there nodding and smiling. I take all of the original documents (which are laminated) plus colour and B&W copies.
  5. No it isn't. When I lived in the UK in the 1980s my 3 bed semi cost me 72,000. My ex wife sold it in the 2000s for 175,000. According to rightmove the average house price was 325,000 over the last year. Properties in Chaplains Avenue had an overall average price of £325,000 over the last year. Overall, sold prices in Chaplains Avenue over the last year were 17% up on the previous year and 14% up on the 2016 peak of £285,000. It is just silly money. The lady across the road from us was an original buyer and paid a whopping 3,995 for it in 1964. Nowadays it is probably worth closer to 400,000. At least my ex was free to sell it. Prince William can't sell it, mortgage it or rent it out. There really is no value to him. It is just an object.
  6. FAO peterfranks I finally managed to clear enough in my son's desk to get my Acer Aspire set up for testing. The first screen shot is in its usual place using a 3 metre cat5e LAN cable. The second, if it works is from my son's desk using a non cat5e Lan cable. Having exhausted everything else, when I am in Kamphaeng Phet next week I will call in at the dealers and talk to a techie to see if it is possible for the Ethernet/LAN chip or card can be updated/upgraded. At this point I don't think that moving to Win 11 will fix my problem.
  7. Why are you still asking the same stupid question to the posters here? Do you think that somebody here knows the answer to your question and will tell you. I have no idea why he paid, and even if I did, I still wouldn't tell anybody. It is his business, and NOT yours or anybody elses. Does what he did, have any affect on your personal life in any way?
  8. Does it really matter that much to you? If you desperately have to know, why not write or email him and ask. It is of no use asking posters on a UK website in Thailand as they know as much as you or I do, which is nothing. It is over, finished, kaput, dealt with to the satisfaction of the law and of both people. So why are you dragging it up again. I suspect that a large percentage of the UK population have grown up and moved on. A funeral is a time for forgiveness, NOT for raking over old coals. He has been dealt with by the courts and most certainly by the Royal Family. Just let it go, please.
  9. Thank you. Many of us at at some learning stage or the other, and I find that posts like this can help other people. There are of course some "superstars" who know everything and believe that they are the greatest, but fortunately not many. I just weed them out and if they still persist, they go on my ignore list.
  10. He will do nothing for me. I just like pinning people down when they post trash and ask them why. 9 times out of 10 they have no reply, or it is only my opinion. But their opinion does not speak for me, nor does it speak for other people even though they believe it does.
  11. So What? quote "Members of HM forces even wrote to the Queen in protest." Please tell all of us exactly how many of all the millions of serving and ex-service men and women actually wrote to the Queen in protest? Then compare that to all the ex-servicemen and women who willingly renewed their oath of allegiance to the new King. I certainly did.
  12. There is a right time and a right place for protests like those. That was neither the right time or the right place. Are YOU legally qualified to speak on the subject? It was HIS Mother that had died and not yours, any problems between them would have been sorted out, as it seems that they were, without your "help". Death is a time for forgiveness and not a time for other people to shove their unwanted opinions out to all and sundry. I suspect, but I have no real idea, that if you had asked the majority of the people who WERE there, you may find that the majority were happy, or at least had no comment about Prince Andrew being there for his Mother. My Mum decades ago told me that if you can't say any good about a person, it is best to keep quiet. quote "The Queen is not in any way biologically above the rest of us, they are all where they are because we accept them being there," BTW Less of the "we" please, because you certainly don't speak for me, nor do I believe that you speak for millions of other people in the UK, or even worldwide.
  13. Thank you Keith I didn't know that so thank you again. Go to "Network & Internet" on your settings then "View hardware and connection properties" and look at... Link Speed (Receive/Transmit): 1000/1000(mbps) I have gone to "Network & Internet" on settings but I cannot find "View hardware and connection properties". I have rooted around in Device manager and found Network adaptors Qualcom Atheros QCA9377 Wireless Network Adaptor #7 Driver Update Driver Driver updated best driver already selected.
  14. Perhaps that is why all the Stryker APCs are stationed in barracks around Bangkok, and not in the south where they are desperately needed.
  15. Not true at all. Whilst they have the right to express their feelings, so do millions of other people have the right to express their condolences and their feelings. Now if they can manage to do that, quietly and peacefully as they did, what right have the moaners and whiners to disrupt them?
  16. This from the obviously politically biased BBC news this morning. As we all know and are constantly told by the shills and mouthpieces that the BBC News, being an MSM news outlet, ALWAYS publishes fake news. Here is some more. https://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-62884668 Ukrainian forces have seized even more territory from Russia as they continue their counter-offensive, the country's president has said. Volodymyr Zelensky said troops have now retaken more than 6,000 sq km (2,317 sq miles) from Russian control in September, in the east and the south. The BBC cannot verify these figures. Russia has admitted losing key cities in the north-eastern Kharkiv region, in what is seen by some military experts as a potential breakthrough in the war. Moscow describes its troop withdrawal from the region in recent days as a "regrouping" with the aim of focusing on the Luhansk and Donetsk regions in Ukraine's east. That claim has been ridiculed even in Russia, with many social media users there describing the stated pull-out as "shameful".
  17. Soldiers generally have no say or choice in where they are sent. You are pointing your finger at the wrong end. Start at the very top with Putin who is the cause of this unmitigated disaster. Then go down from the generals in charge of the military branches. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Order_of_battle_for_the_2022_Russian_invasion_of_Ukraine Start at the top with Putin and look at the number of generals below him who if they had enough guts could have stopped it in its tracks before it started. It may have needed a military coup to depose Putin, though IMHO he has always had enough support from the GRU/KGB/whatever they are called nowadays. Hopefully it is still possible and perhaps it will happen but the casualty list will be staggering, mainly I think of staff officers and if the lower ranks get really involved it may be down to unit against unit. Again, only IMHO, it is desperately needed to save the Russian people from what they have now.
  18. My youngest baby is now 18 here in Thailand. My oldest baby is 44, married with a wife I have never met, and a son and daughter of his own, who I have never met either.
  19. Thank you for the link. Now I now where to look when I get bored and in need of a good laugh.
  20. Would that include voulex vous and people like you who support him?
  21. In Europe they are allowed to have a say in what their leaders are doing. In Russia you will be jailed for calling Putin's "special operation" a war, but that is what is truly is.
  22. it is possible to take my AIO to my sons room to test though not that easy. AFAIK all the Acer computers sold by that dealer, https://www-advice-co-th.translate.goog/?_x_tr_sl=th&_x_tr_tl=en&_x_tr_hl=en&_x_tr_pto=sc They have a number of dealerships across the country so they are not a fly-by-night cowboy outfit and I have dealt with the nearest shop quite often and their main branch a few times. Perhaps they have a business licence from Windows. For some reason I cannot do a copy/paste from settings Device specs DESKTOP-1IJD87D Processor AMD A9D-9425 RADEON R5, 5 COMPUTE CORES 2C + 3G 3.10 GHz Installed RAM 8 GB (7.45 useable) Product ID 00327-35194-57133-AAOEM System type 64 bit operating system, x64 based processor Windows Specifications Edition Windows 10 Home Single Language Version 1909 Installed 02/6/2020 OS Build 18363.959
  23. But I had 1 or 2 other problems at the same time. Windows 10 would not update either The 3BB guy came out to do some extended tests and he suggested that I take the pc back to the dealer who fixed most of the problems but not the low download speeds. I also bought a new 3 metre cat5 e lan cable which improved the speed a bit. I had hoped that the dealer could have downloaded new software for the ethernet chip/board/card but it seems not. I have made a couple of half hearted attempts to reload Win 10 but it kept asking me for the 25 digit code which I don't have as it was pre-installed. I am also indecisive about buying a genuine copy of Win 11 Pro and hoping that the ethernet drivers will update. I will buy from InvadeIT but 7k plus baht is a bit OTT if it doesn't work.
  24. If Trump wants the special master then he should personally foot the whole bill himself. Trump asked for it, Trump got his wish, now HE, personally, should foot the bill. After all, he just has to beg his supporters for more money, as he always does.
  25. But they do most days, YOU however, ignore that because it doesn't agree with your point of view. Do you truly believe that the Russian soldiers are pure as the driven snow and would never commit any atrocity? A simple question and only looking for a simple yes or no answer. A selection of videos for you showing how pure the Russian soldiers in the Ukraine are. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jOfF6WbY08g https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JgFD4Zf6Nqc https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aGdRYGETTnk https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2IYXoys-70Q https://edition.cnn.com/videos/world/2022/05/28/russia-64-brigade-ukraine-war-crimes-bucha-ebof-bell-pkg-vpx.cnn https://www.cbsnews.com/video/stories-of-russian-atrocities-pour-out-of-ukraine/ There are literally thousands more if you want to open your eyes, ears and your mind, but to you they are all fake news. BTW Most of the world disagrees with you.
