To begin with 1 I was on the major road and had priority at the junction anyway. 2 The scooter driver did not look where she was going. How do I know? Unlike you I WAS there and having driven that road for nearly 6 years and I KNOW where stupid people pull out and where it is safer to drive a little faster. 3 She was driving too fast for the time of day which was early morning during the school run. 4 No helmets on either girl Unlike you I rarely comment on how people drive as I am not in the vehicle with them. You OTOH think that from a video or a description, you know exactly what happened, how many vehicles and where they were,, the road and weather conditions at the time, and then you can say who was at fault. Sadly for you, you cannot, and without actually being in the vehicle and driving it you have absolutely no idea what you are talking about, as usual. What gives you to think that YOU have a right to know what is going on? It is in the hands of the DoJ. Why do you seem to think that you are more important than anybody else? A few weeks ago, while taking my son and my neighbours daughter to school around 6:45 am I nearly hit a scooter with 2 schoolgirls on it. It was red plated and neither girl girl was wearing a helmet. They came from the side road to my left and I always go slowly there. They shot straight out in front of me and nearly hit a car coming the other way. Fortunately I WAS looking ahead as well as in my mirrors and braked hard to the left and stopped. OTOH the 2 girls rode gaily on to the same school that my kids go to, completely oblivious to their near death or injury experience. Whose fault would it have been? Probably mine if the person going the other way had just kept going, even though the fault was 100% the girls for not looking or stopping. Memo to self. GET a car camera fitted. It could save a lot of hassle.

And the only way to know for certain if he was drunk is to be breathalysed and then take a blood test. You may be breathalysed at the scene but the blood test is either at the police station or at a hospital.

When the minister of health says it is not necessary to wear a mask, when I see pictures of government ministers and even the PM not wearing masks, I wonder who is right. For all the doctors who keep saying that we should wear masks, I have to ask why Covid is still around. I read the international news and few people are wearing masks in the open any more. At one stage I was supposed to wear a mask in my car, even though I was the only one in it, even though I need not wear a mask at home. So please define who or what is smart and who is stupid?

Out in rural Thailand where I live more and more Thais have stopped wearing masks. I have stopped wearing one though I always carry one. I was up in BigC and Makro last week and most people were wearing a mask so I put mine on without being asked. However in the local village I don't bother and less Thais are wearing mask out here.
