    It also costs a lot to execute them given the amount of bureaucracy involved and many are on death row for years using appeals. The answer is to abolish the death penalty and make prisons cost less, by making prison more of a punishment, which might make criminals think twice. Solitary confinement for the duration might work.

    LOL. They didn't accuse Stalin of being genocidal and he killed something like 20 million people, not counting the ones in WW2. Lot of faux anger on here and misuse of words. Seems that a lot don't understand what genocidal actually means. There is a spot of that going on elsewhere but doesn't usually attract much attention from certain posters on here.

    I've used minivans on many occasions and never had a problem with anything posted on here. Seems people have "heard stories" and think every minivan is a death trap. They ain't. I have seen big buses on their side, and even been in one when it had an accident, so there isn't any 100% safe way to go. If the OP won't use a minivan and can't get a big bus, then the OP will either have to rent a car or a taxi or stay home.

    Not if you look at it from their point of view, which is that the west is killing lots of M E people. I don't know how much longer the M E governments will take it before they do something about it. There is already a lot of reconciliation between once enemies. Iran is making friends with the Arab nations, including Saudi. Changes are in the air and it won't be good for western nations, IMO.

    Errrrr. The appointments are not usually voted for by the public at large, just the senate. No one voted for Kelly or Bolton. That isn't the same as POTUS.

    CPR without an AED and without prompt medical treatment is only likely to lead to brain impairment, IMO. No one can keep it up for long, so unless one has a replacement it's only as long as one can keep pumping.

    Considering I do not think Trump is going to annex part of Denmark, no matter what verbal dribble comes out of his mouth, I can't take a thread like this seriously. Even if his brain malfunctioned to the point he was serious, I doubt his military would obey an order to invade an allied nation that is in NATO.

    Use the opportunity to hang out in Bkk a bit. It's a fascinating city and worth the time. Have you been to the bus station on Sukhumvit where the buses to Jomtien stop to drop off passengers? There may be a service you can buy a ticket on from there, as there will be empty seats from Pattaya. Perhaps that bus stops there too.
