  1. If it caused a MS OS to fail then it's their fault for not protecting their system properly.
  2. Oh yes, ain't that the truth. Bet they forget when this event is over and go back to trusting a machine to never fail.
  3. Sounds like the same excuse they used when they blew up Chernobyl nuclear power plant.
  4. Agree. Been so many on here lording it over posters that are not invested in putting their live in a computer. How does it feel now, knowing that their entire lives can vanish into the ether?
  5. Are you serious? It was invented by humans, so of course it's a fallible system. The more complicated it gets as MS loads ever more c**p on their OS the more likely it will be to fail. Be ironic if old tech fuddies like me are the ones to survive the end of the world as we know it as I only use computer/ internet for stuff like this forum and e mail. As for the ones that live their lives on line and have everything on their computer- LOL, shouldn't have been so gullible as to trust something invented by Gates.
  6. Serves the world right for allowing itself to be controlled by the vile MS company. Words can't describe how much I "dislike" Bill Gates and his loathsome OS. After I turned the computer on not long ago there was a blue screen, which has to be what is described, but it went away before I could read it and I had to wait about 15 minutes for the computer to work. I just assumed it was another interminable update that MS inflicts on me whether I want it or not. Every time I use a computer I find something more to "dislike" Gates over. Can I assume it doesn't affect W7? Luckily I have one with that OS for when the rubbish W10 melts down completely. Of course the vile Gates won't maintain 7 as he wants everyone to pay to use his ever more revolting OS- I've heard bad things about 11.
  7. Useless talking shop saying things it knows will be ignored by israel, and if it was a "binding opinion" would be vetoed by israel's IMO partner in crime the US. What else would they say? It's been stagnant for over a decade because israel will never agree to it IMO. However, it's a useful charade for the US to pretend to pursue. As long as the US has a veto that is but smoke in the wind, IMO.
  8. Oh my my my, how impending defeat changes ones determination to continue on to the bitter end ( on the bodies of other people, of course ).
  9. That applies to every war ever happened, LOL. There is another one some distance away that would stop if the invading army withdrew, but the opinion on that by some on here is 180 degrees opposed.
  10. Agreed. As long as the veto remains the UN is useless. It was set up to prevent wars, but has utterly failed. I have no idea what function the so called security council plays but it's just a ridiculous talking shop with no teeth that I can see. Hasn't stopped Ukraine, hasn't stopped Gaza, hasn't stopped Sudan, hasn't stopped Burma, just useless. Of course israel will ignore the court's ruling, but when something happens they don't like, they'll be screaming for the UN to help them.
  11. Entirely. The real danger to us though is that if israeli army goes into Lebanon and gets destroyed the US may send the US military into the conflict and then IMO it's regional war. Iran is probably hoping for that, especially if Trump is president.
  12. All israel has to do to stop the conflict with Hezbollah is a permanent ceasefire in Gaza. That they won't says to me that they want a war in Lebanon. Netanyahu probably wants it as the Gaza thing can't continue too much longer, and once it's over there is likely a prison cell waiting for him. War in Lebanon extends his days of importance. For sure, Hezbollah learned the lessons of the last israeli invasion and will not be so easily overcome. Anyone knows the actual history of israel's wars knows that it was always a near thing for them- they were never the invincible army of the propaganda.
  13. So no, Trump didn't shower with his daughter. Why not just admit it instead of digging a deeper hole?
  14. I assumed it was that, but I couldn't point that out without seeing the actual photo. It's really easy to reverse the image of a digital photo.
  15. TM30 has to be done by householder/ landlord. It's not up to the tenant to do it.
  16. More likely it has always been a requirement but not enforced. I knew for many many years that a new TM30 was required every time I re entered Thailand.
  17. Having no wish to watch the finale to the world as it was in the most part of my life, if they ever legalise MJ in NZ I'm gonna be high till my end.
  18. Your link doesn't work for me. Perhaps you can post the actual photo for us please.
  19. So that's a no then, unlike your hero Biden.
  20. Perhaps, but I've never seen any cyclists wearing one of those.
  21. The OP doesn't say anything about a motorcycle. It says cycle. It really needs confirmation if it was a bicycle or a m'bike. M'bikes are not big in Ireland, so I doubt he had a m'bike license, and if he was on one likely the insurance ( if he had any ) void.
  22. Stupidity? If they can afford the flight they can afford insurance.
