I find that somewhat hard to believe given netanyahu has apparently promised to hunt down all Hamas even after a ceasefire. I'd expect them to hold on till israel gives them immunity post conflict. Sounds like wishful thinking to me given how would Burns even know that? Does he claim to have a spy in the Hamas HQ?

Israel is at War - General discussion (pt3)
thaibeachlovers replied to Social Media's topic in The War in Israel
Just as well he's already proven himself somewhat mentally challenged or I might be boggled by such a moronic claim. I'll just assume he got confused and meant to say israeli instead of Palestinian. -
If you think the world is a safer place because the israelis kill thousands of women and children you are IMO very ignorant of reality. The consequences of what is being done will be significant and probably horrifying. Will you say the world is safer if the war spreads to other countries eg, Syria and Iran. IMO revenge will be coming against israelis and it won't be pretty.

Traveling from Thailand to the UK on a cargo ship.

That's a lot of money to look at the sea for weeks. They generally try to avoid land, unless it's for business. I would only do it if I had a companion. -

Millionaires can do whatever they like ( within reason ), it's peasants like myself that lose most of their money to the wrong women and end up on a pension because of it that suffer now. BTW those were supposedly "good women" not bargirls. I rarely got ripped off by bargirls, but the two women that said they loved me ( for real ) ripped me off something awful. Moral of the story, don't trust women and don't get married. -

Are you kidding? People are living in garages or cars, and families are living in motels ( paid for by the government ) as there is a shortfall of many thousands of houses, and they still let thousands of immigrants in every year- madness. -

To use on screws of course, but I never said I have one at all times. I only needed it while traveling. You are very fixated on minutiae, when that was one example of why flying is no longer enjoyable. I have a list of other things that make it less enjoyable than it used to be. -

LOL. Do you think I wouldn't if I could? You must have a strange idea of how much we get on the pension in NZ. By the time I pay rent ( which just went up $10 a week, but my pension didn't ), pay for food ( which has increased by about 25% in reality but my pension didn't ) I have barely enough to use for living expenses like having to own a car as there is no public transport, and I better not get mildly sick as I can't afford the public health service charges ( no NHS here ). The only way to get free health care is to arrive at hospital in an ambulance, and the ambulance costs. If they gave me the pension in Thailand I'd be about 50 % better off than here, as long as I didn't need hospital treatment. I'd have better accomodation for starters and I wouldn't need my own car. -

Apologies. It was actually a 2 inch stubby screwdriver. I don't think they even make a 3 inch one. -

When posting on here is about the most I'm capable of making, the only thing that stops me doing it myself is that I might mess it up and be worse off. -

While I have never had no money at all ( except for one unfortunate episode where my fiance had all our money on holiday in Sydney, got in a huff over some silly thing and took off, leaving me to wonder how I was going to get back to the hotel ), I have worked for what I have. A 5 day week would have been nice. In London I worked 3 weeks in a row and had one weekend off in a month. That had to stop because the government legislated on legal hours of work. My first job was on a dairy farm which is a 7 day a week job, and I worked 84 hours. Cue the 4 Yorkshire men. -

I don't recall you posting on the God thread, but with that belief you would have been at home on it. -

A pencil can be used to attack someone, a pen can be used to attack someone, but they won't take those away from you. Do you even know what a 2 inch stubby screwdriver looks like? Nice try but no cigar. -
I can see them borrowing the Pope mobile's bulletproof glass box for future rallies ( actually I can't. The media would love it if Trump gave a speech from in one ), though I can see Biden using one, except he doesn't do rallies. Not much point when the crowd can fit in a small room.

The only reason an Ed.D would use the title "Dr" is to make people believe they can deliver babies. LOL. I hope a Dr can do more than that. Anyone can deliver a baby, taxi drivers can do it, women have done it themselves. I can deliver a baby and have "Maternity" in my nursing title to prove it. Where expertise is required is in dealing with a problem. It's the same as pilots. Anyone can probably fly a plane with a bit of practice, but commercial pilots earn the big bucks for knowing what to do when it all goes wrong.

It certainly did. It immediately made me think of the iconic picture of raising the US flag on Iwo Jima. How is that for serendipity?

LOL. If Time was honest, he has to be the most talked about person on the planet, so he should be their Man of the Year. Not liking him makes no difference.

For starters there is no provided entertainment and if the crew have a movie night it will probably be in Tagalog. -

I've read of people that did it so it must be possible. Eat with the officers. Apparently it's a bit boring as nothing to do for passengers. The OP should head to Phuket and see if he can get a berth on a sailing boat, as crew. That would keep him occupied.
