Here's a helpful hint. Ask the airline for a wheelchair service- has to be done ahead of check in. Avoid the q's at immigration, get helped going onto the plane and going off- get to go on before everyone else. Thai Air don't even need a Dr's certificate ( at least they didn't when I went - check when you book your ticket ).

IMO if there is a move to support more authoritarian political parties the loonys lefties that have been in power far too long have only themselves to blame, with their woke PC policies that have allowed barking movements to emerge, such as believing that paying more taxes and driving an EV ( with materials produced by exploited labour ) is going to magically return us to a paradise age where there were no storms, wildfires, poverty or war, and everyone sat around campfires singing Kumbaya while a gentle rain watered the crops between 1 and 6 am, or that allowing as many people that landed on shore from a leaky rubber boat to stay is going to make life better for the tax paying citizens.

People need something to believe in. What would you replace religion with? Man made climate change perhaps? IMO if we got rid of all the present religions, it wouldn't be long before someone invented a new one.

If I were to go on such a march I'd disguise myself too. I don't want the plod to come knocking on my door for having the wrong opinions ( any opinion other than the government's is apparently wrong these sad days ). BTW. I never said that I knew what it was about- it was just a possibility. I'm sure people are there for many reasons, but if I were to join such a march it'd be about illegal immigration.

I support him only as long as Biden is the candidate ( or Harris ) as I consider them to be a threat to world peace, and he seems to be the only GOP candidate that could defeat Biden. Q Why would I support a man that is all that you say about him? A Because he didn't start any wars last time. All the boys that might have died otherwise thank him. Biden has prolonged one that should never have started, IMO, and seems to be escalating us all the way to MAD, while the other conflict he has been stoking with lots and lots of US bombs looks like turning into a full blown M E war. We've had enough warmongers in the past 50,000 years of human existence, and it's about time we grew up as a species and started talking instead of killing.

IMO too many people on here grew up with John Wayne winning the war single handedly to believe that the west will fail, never mind the real life examples of failures eg Vietnam and Afghanistan, and other examples of fiascos that sort of fizzled out like Iraq, or the draws like Korea.

Probably with a majority of the planet's countries, and even in the west it's mainly the leaders and their cronies, IMO. I doubt most western citizens agree with blowing women and children to bits in so called "safe zones".

Wouldn't that be just peachy for netanyahu? It would deflect all the attention away from Gaza. He did try and start something with Iran by the attack on the consulate, but that only deflected attention for a short time, and then returned even more so because of the attack on the "safe zone". He needs something bigger, like an invasion of Lebanon to really deflect attention away what he is doing in Gaza.

Given that his objective is for all Hamas fighters to die, or be captured alive ( a fate worse than death ), netanyahu has guaranteed that the conflict will continue. The idea that as long as the illegal israeli blockade of Gaza and the illegal oppression and land theft in the West Bank continue October 7 will never be repeated is a myth. Oppression always brings resistance. It may not be called Hamas, but it will be out to kill israelis. There are now probably over a million potential recruits in Gaza. Many of them will be young children now, just waiting till they get old enough.
