  1. I suppose you meant to include "more than I" in that. However, I have to agree with you. IMO it's shameful that NZ spends sod all on defense and expects the US to protect us. We should do more, a lot more to be a part of an alliance.
  2. While I have no intention of using such a device, if posters want to use such, why bother actually writing anything? Just post whatever a machine said.
  3. I get debunked and laughed at almost every post I write on this sub forum. I even have a poster that follows me around all the sub forums to laugh at most of my posts, regardless of what I write. Welcome to my AN experience.
  4. Agreed. Anyway, he doesn't seem to get that world opinion is irrelevant in a national election. The world doesn't get to vote for the POTUS.
  5. That's a lot of words, but even though you quoted me, you didn't really address what I said. Seems an awful lot of Americans prefer to lose Obama care than elect Joe again. BTW, if the UK ( seeing as you brought it up ) doesn't find the money to pay nurses a decent wage, the NHS may not be able to save those children any more. They've been talking about the end of the NHS for quite a while now.
  6. I don't want to care about the US, but unfortunately we are all influenced in one way or another by what happens in the US, so it behooves us to keep an eye on what is happening there. I don't get exercised by countries like Latvia or Greece because I doubt anything they do will affect me. It's a sort of love / hate relationship, as I don't like US politics, but in my part of the world we rely on the US to keep us safe from a certain less than benign country. I've long given up on asking "why do you turkeys voting for Christmas love someone who wouldn't deign to spit on your chav self and would take away your healthcare in a heartbeat?". If that is a convoluted way of saying why do some of us support Trump, I did because he wasn't her, and I'll support him now as it pains me to see the depths to which his opposition will stoop to keep him out of office again. Someone on CNN apparently remarked that indicting him is only going to give him more support, and IMO they were not wrong on that. Heard on radio news that all N Y police leave is cancelled. They seem, IMO, be terrified of what might happen, and they must believe he has a lot of angry supporters out there.
  7. As it's a broken tooth it's going to be more complicated than normal, but still way cheaper than in home country. Might need a specialist depending on how complicated. I had to have a specialist when a molar went rotten under a crown, After removing the crown the rest of the tooth came out in little bits.
  8. I have only one lower molar on one side of my mouth. You should get by fine without one tooth. Never had a problem with other teeth moving and I've been missing some teeth for 50 years. I don't use dentures. Just take care of the ones remaining.
  9. Agree. IMO they are so dumb that they don't realise that if Thailand changed to the way they want it, it would be just like the <deleted> place they escaped from. Most of us wanted to live in LOS because it WASN'T like the <deleted> place we escaped from.
  10. We have a similar experience. My first partner affected me so badly I never wanted anything romantic with another woman ever again, and that lasted till I found LOS, and I had a decades long love affair with many of them. I can't remember what I had for supper yesterday, but I remember the day I walked into Tilac on Cowboy for the very first time. I even had a girlfriend from there for 4 years. BTW, Tilac back then was very, very different from the present day mostrocity. I spent many a happy hour there, but everything ends and I found my real idyl in Nana Plaza. Happy days in paradise back then.
  11. I wasn't trying to say that religion is negative. I was just saying that if we ain't religious it doesn't make any difference.
  12. Actually, they were pagan festivals co opted by religion. I doubt anyone actually knew their real birth date.
  13. Every time you write something like that you just prove that you actually know sod all hookers to pretend to be such an expert on them. I found the ones I went with to be as intelligent and interesting as most non hooker women I knew. Some non hooker women were less intelligent and interesting of course.
  14. I wish I'd thought of that response!
  15. You just proved that you have no idea about hookers with that. I knew lots of nice hookers that I'd have been happy to have as a friend. Oh wait, I did have hookers as friends and very lovely people they were too. Have you actually been near a real hooker, or do you get your information from porn movies?
  16. ???????????????????? Since when did believers legislate public holidays? Talk to your politicians.
  17. Will it tell me where I can find a woman that won't stop having sex with me after a year? If not, of what use is it?
  18. Wouldn't make any difference to some believers, as we ain't necessarily religious.
  19. I don't know anyone that celebrates the birth of the Christ, or mourns at his death, but everyone has a holiday. No need to change the name, as Christmas is when kids get presents, and Easter is just 4 days off.
  20. Chat thing is wrong then. Heaven isn't above us. It's certainly not located in space, if it even is a "place", as such.
  21. Does anyone take a man that wears horns seriously? Did he actually do anything bad other than run around shouting? If he did it must have been off camera, as I didn't see it.
  22. How many on here would be in the sort of circles that that sort of garbage goes on to know?
  23. Obviously I can't give you a link about something that hasn't happened yet, but IMO there will be unintended consequences if Trump should be convicted. The security for just the appearance next week is apparently going to be massive, and that's not even the trial. New York may yet come to regret starting this event when so many hate those that are against Trump. I'm amazed that the media are even staking out positions yesterday and it's not happening till Tuesday. I guess they are counting on some strife occurring to make it worthwhile.
  24. Not an error IMO. Far as I'm concerned it's all just about stopping Trump standing for election. They've tried all the big things like being on Putin's payroll etc and failed dismally, so now they are going for anything that will eliminate him from contention. IMO they must be terrified of even the possibility that Trump gets elected, and it's no wonder that so many millions of people in the US hate Washington.
  25. I guess his rockets are as pants as his Virgin train service. Worst British train company I ever traveled on.
