Not having money makes me very unhappy. I'm pretty sure that if I had money I'd be a lot happier.

A reason as to why a month is necessary would help in composing a reply. I lived in Chiang Mai for a year and for all the sightseeing I did it could have been anywhere with shopping malls.

The answer was already given. The air coming out of the outside unit is exactly the same as the air before it went into the unit except warmer. Ergo, if the air that you breath outside is toxic, the air coming out of the machine is toxic and visa versa. If the wind is bothering you, just put a screen up to deflect it elsewhere and remove the visual disturbance the machine is causing. Is that too hard?

Outside unit makes inside unit cold and fan in inside unit blows cold air around. No chemicals emitted unless it's leaking refrigerant. Easily solved problem. Just tell them you don't want AC and to remove the outside unit.

I doubt anyone could buy a house on my first wage. I was a farm hand, worked 84 hours a week, 7 days a week, and earned an actual pittance as an apprentice. I even had to pay the farmer for my accommodation out of the pittance. I saw the light my first year and joined the military, which was the best decision I ever made as a young guy and possibly in my life. I did buy the house my partner stole from me after I left the military, but only because military service allowed me to get a very low interest mortgage.

Because they want more money for their schemes, and you ( and others like you ) have no power, so easy pickings.

Did I ever say that they don't pay any taxes? I doubt it's too onerous given how wealthy some Democrat politicians are.

Very, very true in the world we live in, which IMO is controlled by the uber rich. I have no doubt they get more wealthy every crisis. There is a solution, but it would entail some very unpleasant things happening to a great many people. Apparently even the French Revolution failed to completely remove all the aristocrats and soon enough it was back to business as usual.

They employ a force of accountants that help them use every loophole to avoid paying more than they have to. Given that most politicians nowadays are in the "rich" category, does anyone think they will change the rules to make themselves poorer?

Exactly right. Back then, even though I earned a moderate income, driving was cheap and I never worried about being able to afford to drive. Rents were affordable and places to rent sufficient- not so now. Real cost of houses has increased along with electricity and water bills. Public health has become a bad joke. If I were working now as a nurse, I could not afford to save anything if renting.

Yup. Every time they come up with yet another attempt to legally prevent him standing for POTUS it increases his popularity. IMO more and more people are seeing through the bs and seeing it for what is really happening in an election cycle. However, they should carry on making him more and more likely to win in 24.

LOL. The court proceedings are likely to put one to sleep, IMO. Real courts are not like the ones on tv. It'll be hours of lawyers speaking and not much if any action. The real action will be outside the courtrooms where there will likely be some demonstrations, unless they have closed all the streets for miles. However, I could be wrong and Trump will have the opportunity to diss a lot of people if they ever let him near the witness chair.

I don't think Ukraine makes any difference to what China does in the south Pacific. Either the US will come to our assistance or it won't- nothing to do with paying a lot of money in Ukraine. If the Chinese invade we will need more than money.

A word of warning about that place. It is indeed spectacular and has the most attractive rest room I've ever been in, but if the Chinese are back it isn't really worth going to, IMO. Last time I went it was so invaded by masses of Chinese package tourists that I didn't even try going through it, and left as soon as I arrived.

In NZ I doubt any "professional" does anything without a condom. Normally a "professional" won't kiss a client, but as you say if she knows them as a regular they may do so. Depends on her though, and IMO any customer trying without their permission would be ejected pretty quickly.

I don't think some drunk guy manhandling them qualifies as "passionate". Some are desperate enough to put up with bad behaviour, some are not.

Never went to Vietnam or Cambodia so can't speak from experience. In my experience, a guy that went too far with a dancer in a Nana Gogo had about 10 Thai guys beating the <deleted> out of him and every other customer was cheering THEM on. Of course, the girls want to get a bar fine, so do some moves to encourage the customer to take them out of the bar, but it's not full on public sex or anything like that.

I don't care whatever caused the rise in global temperature of a degree or so. Far as I'm concerned it's a fact that climate changes all the time, and there is sod all we can do about it other than learn to live with it. Annoys me that governments are using it to raise taxes though.

No I suffer from melancholia which could be easily confused with depression. I used to think I was depressed, and I may have been but not for long.
