Obviously I can't give you a link about something that hasn't happened yet, but IMO there will be unintended consequences if Trump should be convicted. The security for just the appearance next week is apparently going to be massive, and that's not even the trial. New York may yet come to regret starting this event when so many hate those that are against Trump. I'm amazed that the media are even staking out positions yesterday and it's not happening till Tuesday. I guess they are counting on some strife occurring to make it worthwhile.

Not an error IMO. Far as I'm concerned it's all just about stopping Trump standing for election. They've tried all the big things like being on Putin's payroll etc and failed dismally, so now they are going for anything that will eliminate him from contention. IMO they must be terrified of even the possibility that Trump gets elected, and it's no wonder that so many millions of people in the US hate Washington.

I don't get the level of vitriol posted at Trump. He didn't start a war based on a lie erroneous information that caused the death of many US soldiers and vast numbers of civilian casualties, but the POTUS that did do that got elected again and I don't recall anyone baying for his arrest, while a POTUS that didn't gets vilified.

Agree. My best years were between 19 when I joined the military, and 30, when I got hooked for the first time. Saw a large part of the world and a very interesting and adventurous life. I love being retired, and not having to go to work, but it's not at all adventurous. Even if I could afford to be adventurous, the body just ain't what it used to be.

Seriously, I envy you and anyone that has a long lasting marriage. I have terrible judgement when it comes to women. Tried twice and not going to bother again. I have actually met some delightful women in my life, but they were already married, and in some cases still are. However, almost everyone I know is divorced, so even the long lasting marriages are second time around.

It is. To know what it's like, get someone to hit the outside of whatever room you are in with a big hammer for several hours. Unfortunately, seems like there are loads of people out there with zero consideration for other people.

I have a female friend of many years and whenever I'm over in her vicinity we have lunch and catch up. Couldn't believe how much she had aged last time we met up. I can't look my age as I'm quite often asked what work I do, when I started on the pension many years ago. Perhaps they think I'm a dole bludger or something like that.

According to what I saw on Al Jazeera, Ukrainian men were not allowed to cross the Polish border. If it is men that left before they must have been in LOS a long time. Perhaps Al Jazeera got it wrong.
