  1. IMO romance is a hoax that women use to get freebies. Millions of diamonds have been bought to be given to women by men paying the price of admission, only to end up as 50% of marriages that fail.
  2. In my last career of over 2 decades I worked with thousands of women and to say they are weak is laughable. They may be physically weaker, but mentally they dominate men every time, IMO. Also, IMO they don't need a man, other than to get pregnant. However it helps to have financial assistance to raise their children which may or may not be of the man's blood.
  3. Ever lived in a rural area a 4 hour bus journey from a big city where you were the only farang? I have and the smile was as lacking there as in any tourist town.
  4. It really was a Land of Smiles when I first arrived on the shores of paradise on earth. It departed long ago though. I wonder if the OP has been in LOS less than 20 years, or just noticed.
  5. It's true that many walled bars were under a guest house or an hotel, but specifically as a short time room- not so. I know that a certain soi in Pattaya has such, but IMO one had to be really into sex with bargirls to go in any of those bars. Perhaps times have changed since I was last in Pattaya.
  6. those men are working towards something bigger, broader & nobler than just arranging the orgasm schedule of their own penis. Sadly I don't know of any such in these dark days of social media driven, IMO, insanity. I know there used to be such, but they were from a previous age.
  7. You are just a hoar to them. Google found this for me https://www.dictionary.com/browse/hoar noun hoarfrost; rime. a hoary coating or appearance. adjective hoary. I suspect you meant something else, but perhaps you could explain exactly what you meant.
  8. Other than that, no one gives a toss. Exactly. Other than those with an agenda, IMO most people in the world don't really care if two men want to get it on, or a man wants to wear a dress, and are happy to ignore it, unless it's thrust in their face.
  9. What's immoral about having sex between a man and a woman, or are you saying that they have to be married to do so? BTW, how many bars in Thailand have rooms "upstairs"? All the ones I've been in, the guy has to take her elsewhere, so you must be hanging out in some unusual bars, IMO.
  10. I fail to see why you single out Christians for that behaviour. There are a few other religions where such happens also.
  11. Biden or Harris being the Democrat candidate.
  12. A teacher once hit me on the head, but he was not a nice man at anytime. The school was a Christian religious institution, but I guess he wasn't imbued with the spirit of Christ. Even catholic priests are human and subject to human failings, though that doesn't excuse some of their activities.
  13. Sexuality and gender are not the same thing. Gender is determined by chromosomes, while sexuality is mental and can change ( and change back ).
  14. You obviously never met Father Ray then. I was fortunate enough to do so.
  15. My wife never mentioned taking care of her family or giving her everything till after we were married. Clever woman she.
  16. I'm all for women going topless, but only for those that don't have to wear a bra to keep them in place.
  17. They did make life unpleasant for those that refused. Many lost their jobs for their choice. I couldn't even go to the movies without being injected. I did get injected once an old technology version was available, but it was against my will.
  18. Don't tar all Christians with the same brush. The best human being I ever met was Father Ray who started the Pattaya orphanage. A wonderful man.
  19. The woke ( even before we knew what woke is ) banned Enid Blyton children's books in Libraries, despite them being very, very popular.
  20. That is what I was saying. Perhaps I worded it badly.
  21. If you read the entire thing, I wasn't saying religion per se is not worth much. if we can't understand the meaning of what the founders of religions meant without needing scholars to tell us what they meant, the religion isn't worth much I fully understand what the Christ said when he referred to forgiveness and loving others without needing a scholar to tell me what he meant. I'm not a Christian because IMO his message was corrupted by the men that started the church, though I try to live by his teachings. Apparently they didn't even allow the followers to know what he said till the reformation ( services were in Latin ).
  22. Perhaps the lower sum is the real value and the problem was what he paid for it?
  23. While I can't support that, as we all know a POTUS that was a crook, I love for it happen just to see the opposition melting down in outrage.
  24. PS I was there long before I became a believer, so I didn't see God in nature down there. I know that I would if I went back now. It's an amazingly spiritual place if one wishes to see it like that. As far as sunsets go, for much of the year there were none, but the first sunrise after 8 weeks of darkness was truly spectacular. I am forever privileged to have had the opportunity to live there.
  25. In Riyadh there is a university dedicated to understanding what Muhammad was reported to have said ( and perhaps interpreting it is a way beneficial to some ), and I have no doubt the same exists for Christianity and other religions. IMO if we can't understand the meaning of what the founders of religions meant without needing scholars to tell us what they meant, the religion isn't worth much.
