  1. You didn't specify short time, ergo you were referring to every variation, IMO.
  2. Dunno where you get your information from, but IMO a gogo bar is specifically dancers on a stage with a pole to shuffle around.
  3. I have no idea why you think that, but IMO you are 100% wrong. No gogos in Lamphun.
  4. Exactly right. I'm not afraid to die- be silly to be as it's inevitable. I do fear being an invalid in pain for a long time, or even just being in a rest home. Massive heart attack and gone would be the best natural death, but I'd take the pill if governments stopped telling me I have no right to die at a time of my choosing- who the <deleted> do they think they are to tell me I have to suffer before getting out of this scummy life- a scummy life they created?
  5. I think I'm in a "social class" and I never heard of her, so why would I travel to Thailand to see her? The OP is about attracting foreigners, IMO, not locals.
  6. You can't possibly be comparing western prostitution to Thailand where I could take one from Pattaya for a month on a nice beach. The cost in the west would make that a no go for most mongers that go to Pattaya.
  7. Thou jest assuredly. To have a western prostitute stay long time would require a great deal of money, and the usual time limit is so short this one would never bother. Between western prostitution and that in LOS there is NO comparison, IMO.
  8. I don't refuse anything- the government does. However, I agree that if one has an address in the UK and is currently paying NI in the UK one should get it for free. Want to change the rules, lobby the government to change them. If one wants free medical, go back and live in the UK- up to you.
  9. Nah. If she's honest with herself she'll know that her 15 minutes will be over soon enough, and she needs to make as much as possible while she is still bankable. Another, sexier, younger, more energetic singer/ dancer will be along in a while.
  10. Don't know which VDO you watched, but the one I watched improved soon as I turned the sound off. I defy anyone to say it isn't all about sex appeal after watching it.
  11. Well, I liked the same music my dad did, so he did like my music. Connie Francis, Nancy and Frank Sinatra, Dino, Chuck Berry, Chubby Checker, Fats Waller, Acker Bilk, etc. All extremely talented, made great music that is still popular, and didn't need to rely on sex appeal for popularity.
  12. I'd be up for that myself, if I were 20 years younger. Instead of having to go to Pattaya and spending a few days of my holiday looking for a good one, I could meet her at the airport and head straight to the islands.
  13. Listen to that with your eyes closed and then claim it's "good music", 55555555555555555555. I can't even watch it anyway, because the length of time between cuts is about 1 second. Does my head in trying to watch anything that cuts so frequently.
  14. As is Ariana Grande, who attracts massive audiences, but I don't know the name of a single song she sings. Like I said, it's all about sex appeal. If they weren't on music VDOs I doubt they'd be successful based on their singing alone.
  15. We agree on something. IMO the Beatles were <deleted> from Sgt Pepper on. A good example of why illegal drugs are bad for us. The Rolling Stone mag is important? Not in my opinion. Time used to be important, if one needs an example of important.
  16. If it does catch on, the bar scene is doomed as it was IMO. Why bother trawling around all the bars between Walking street and Naklua looking for the elusive "one" when one can find her on line before even getting on the plane. I'd imagine the number of farangs that only want to play connect 4 and buy drinks for assorted women is limited.
  17. I like K pop/ J pop, but not for the songs, which IMO is what it's all about. If the songs were important, they could be sung by one singer, instead of by large groups of drop dead gorgeous, nubile, young girls doing complex routines in skimpy costumes. Rolling Stone magazine? 5555555
  18. IMO the songs are nothing special but doing complex routine dancing in high heels does require talent. It's not about the songs anyway, IMO, but the sex appeal. According to a documentary I saw many years ago it started in Japan to cater to computer geeks that couldn't get a girlfriend. Back then, they were more intimate affairs and the audience was a lot smaller and sat quite close to the dancers.
  19. Woopdee doo. IMO the only reason J pop and K pop are popular is because of the girls. They could sing "Ring a ring a rosies" and still be popular. It's all about sex appeal IMO.
  20. What you wrote may be true, but I wouldn't want to live in Malaysia, and Singapore is too sterile and expensive. For all its faults, Thailand is the cheese for many of us, though I doubt we fit the government's desired profile.
  21. IMO not true. I could do all that and more and never got hassled for it. I was even out digging ditches during a flood while the local officials were there, and after a storm I'd be out with the locals cleaning up. Did plumbing, electrical work, and repaired the roof in public view with no problems. If what you claim was true, no farang would be buying DIY tools at HomePro.
