    But unlike you

Sent from my iPhone using Thailand Forum - Thaivisa mobile app

Yeah, I was a bit quick off the mark to flame your post. Sorry bout that. Are your parents Thai or farang ? Could make a difference in the type of toy you are researching. I think if could recharge when battery low, mobile phone companies would have already cornered the market. Have you Googled Sony robot dog ?

  2. I also try & keep my sugar intake down as much as possible. A couple of slices of lemon  in a bottle of cold water makes a refreshing drink. I also mix up a batch of Ginger drink that most drink hot. I put 4 sachets of the Ginger powder in one litre of water & keep in the fridge. Dissolve first with a little hot water. There's several varieties with No added preservatives, colours & flavourings. For a change I use some of the concentrated, 4 sachet mix, with a glass of soda water.

Is the Thailand Motor Forum moderated?

I Have a 2014 Michu Mirage we bought a couple of years as an inexpensive car while visiting Thailand (sold our pickup when we left and tired of renting every time we return)  We will be returning to Thailand next spring full time again and we will be in the market for a more substantial vehicle, we will keep the Mitsubishi for around town and sister in law to drive.

So I see the title of this thread  "Which car / brand should I choose?" and i think to myself, perhaps i can get some inside on opinions from those who are there and have dealt with the choice.

After all these years on TVF I should have known better.

Five pages on which color is cooler in the sun.

I know talking about cars is fun and I don't mean to be a stick in the mud and a party pooper, but how about some self moderation. If we are all interested in color and its effect  on heating up a car how about we start a  new thread, I might even jump in with my personal preference on paint job, solving the whole controversy.

PS : if anyone says " yes but the roof is white" I will personally  come over and beat you senseless with a stalk of lemongrass

Well said. No, the whole reply, not just about the lemon grass.

  4. Been using  Lazada for a little while now. Not a problem at all. Always COD. Returned my first purchase as it wasn't a genuine item... copy, knock off, fake.  Returned via Thai Post. Had refund into my K-bank within 10 days.

    I'll be using them again.

She has and never will produce offspring as well. Due to a serious motorcycle accident, children are impossible. So yes,  a heifer in both senses of the term.

    Oops... sorry bout that.

By the term"gravel bike" I can only assume you intend to do most of your riding on semi-smooth or unpaved roads. If so, what you need is a Mountain Bike. For a first bike, I would suggest you start with an off the rack bike. You buy decent quality MB's that cost between 5,000-8,000 baht from stores like Big C, Tesco, Home Pro, Global House and other shops. As a novice and inexperienced beginner,  spending 15,000 baht on a first bike would be foolish and so is letting a friend of a friend chose a bike for you.  I bought my Coyote MB 2 years ago, ride at least 20 km four days a week and saved 2/3's of your budget.

As an off road & highway cyclist for what seems like eons, I agree totally with the above. You will definitely get a bike off the rack for above quoted price. If someone tries to convince you that you need a custom bike... rubbish. You'll get almost perfect fit with seat adjustment as long as you choose something pretty close to "your fit" when you buy. many bikes have adjustable goose neck & handlebar tilt adjustment for final fit.

    Good luck & enjoy.

Do all owners of BMW & Mercedes have an attitude like yours?

Does it come after purchasing them, or the attitude makes you choose them?

Just askin' as I dont know...

Isn't it about time certain members started their own post if they want to continue with all this crap that is no way related to the original post ?

Yes, yes, I know I can just ignore, but I happen to be interested in genuine replies to the OP. Becoming a waste of time & BORING with the private spat going on.

What is safe here? Everything is substandard. I would not do anything in Thailand along these lines.

"What is safe here? Everything is substandard."  Sorry, can't agree with you. I've had both knees replaced here in LOS as well as medium range dental work & all done very professionally. Very happy with all procedures.

Didn't realize I overlooked that important bit of information. I'm in Pak Chong, situated roughly midway between Korat and Bangkok. I've lived here off and on for over 6 years.

Not intended as a flame or wind up.... But !

It never ceases to amaze me why people don't become friends with Mr Google. A 2 second click & this came up immediately.
