I've written before, and it's been refuted by some on AN, that humans simply don't like humans. It manifests itself in many ways, even harmless things like not wanting someone next to you on a bus or train, with some even placing a bag on the seat next to them to discourage it. They are born hating others for no rational reason, and there is not a school where bullying doesn't occur. Fortunately, most grow out of it as they mature.

I always read TA reviews before booking a hotel. If there are 20 good reviews and one bad one, I take it that the bad reviewer had an isolated poor experience or an agenda or was just unlucky. Why a hotel would want someone jailed for an single poor review is beyond belief. Are they really stupid enough to think they'll lose business because of one poor review out of dozens? Of course not. It's only their bruised Thai ego that is damaged. Children. Everything in Thailand is perfect, no-one ever makes a mistake, everyone knows everything about everything. It's the way they are raised from birth. Pathetic culture.

This 'business' has been going on for many years and has received huge publicity, and they are only now taking action? At the same time, did they arrest the dozens of African prostitutes lining the street, as that is an illegal occupation usually reserved only for Thais.

My brother-in-law is a middle-ranking police officer. He has three houses, a pickup, a large van that his wife uses to ferry kids to school, a motorcycle. And several plots of land. It's tough bring a cop. He's not even a cop in a city or town. Imagine what they get 'paid'.

I'm not qualified to answer that. Are you? I'd guess that there are some born with brains that function differently to others no matter what, but I'd also say that the vast majority of people turn out the way they do as the result of personal experiences they have and how they deal with the influence it has on them. Of course, there are a very small number who are 'wired wrong', but I don't think that all killers were born to be killers. They are more easily offended, or are unable to cope due to any number of reasons due to their upbringing. But, as I say, I'm not qualified in that field and it's just my opinion.

Being by a large body of water raises humidity as there is more moisture in the air. I'll pass on something being 200%.
