Every time I open a thread , all off a sudden an annoying "Be first to know" banner opens up on the button of my screen where I type most of my typos. Oh there it is again. I desperately try to avoid clicking on it , 'cause I don't want to be the first to know . Unless many of them know the same person, about 8 million people died from a reaction to the vaccine , which is about 8 times more of people that died from covid. In fact in 2021 there were 3.5 million total deaths in the US and in 2022 3,2 million So if one is to believe this 24% of responders.to the poll. More people died from a reaction to the vaccine than there were total deaths during the pandemic from an couse!!! And what's even worse, many of those people that died from a reaction to the vaccine in 2019 voted for Biden in 2020. In Afghanistan where the custom is that women walk a couple of steps behind the man, , while walking trough a field, and American man noticed a bunch of man and women crossing the field and and was surprised that the women were leading the man. Hey its nice to see that that man in this country are finally treating women right and letting women lead. He said to them . Sure , sure they responded, and about time with all these minefields around.

Consider two tanks , (By the way that's what we are doing at our gardening farm) where we have a small house with a bathroom for staying overnight). Right now we are watering straight from the well. One lager settling tank for general use and watering ,and a smaller tank that will be picking up overflow from 2/3 s of the way up of the larger tank . The larger tank would be filled by the well pump, and the smaller tank would have a small pump for feeding the house. Mostly for taking a shower, or washing dishes, We drink bottle water from a water cooler. We are always thinking of building at our farm which is only 5 minutes from the house and is nice and quiet, But we have aur house all set up the way we want it, and who wants to be starting over with a new house.

I understand and sympathize. Sorry to dredge up old feeling best left undisturbed. I often wake up in a cold sweat over choices that I made in the past. Even though in retrospect it looks horrible and I ask myself . how could I have possibly made such a choice . I try to remind myself that at the time, given what I knew then and the emotional state I was in. it seemed like a good choice . Something to keep in mind. Burned bridges can sometimes be re-build.

They are a service not your friends. 2006 I got greedy and got heavily invested in Real Estate in FL , 2008 I was financially upside down I had a negative worth and had to go back to work. I had not burned my bridges, I regularly communicate with my friends and show an interest in their lives. When the time came that I needed help, they also showed an interest in my life.Call were made. It seemed that a contract of a contact of a friend was in need of someone with my skills in NYC, I packed up my bags , moved there, Worked my ass , made myself indispensable, and about 10 years I had made everything back , My house in FL mortgage free, and vested in an additional pension. No community service Would have done this for me. What would community services do for me. Give me food stamps and perhaps a welfare apartment where I can plop myself in a used layboy shair and wait to die? Family, friends and contacts are gold. only a full throws away such gold. I am going to the States Christmas for two weeks. When I told people I was coming , A car was made available to me and a place to stay in Daytona beach , and in Delray beach, would community's services done this for me?

Not good, unless there was even more trouble in this side. Regardless of the negatives that make that side of the river undesirable, one day you might not have a choice (for a variety of reasons) and have to ho back, and if you have burned all your bridges, (in keeping with the theme) you would be up <deleted>creek with out a padle .

Burning your bridges is never a good idea. You never know if you might need to cross that river again.
