  1. As much as I appreciate the minimalist movement. But , what is it?
  2. That might be true but has nothing to do with the negatives of ICE,
  3. In other words you would cut your nose to spite your face.
  4. Those are sure pretty birds!! almost 20 years in Thailand and I have never seen one. We are in Knon Kaen .
  5. There are negatives with every technology, but I must say, the negatives of an ICE vehicle far outweigh the negatives of an EV I don't have an EV. We bought a new ICE car two years ago and if you traded it in for an EV we would take a financial bath. But in two or three years from now I foresee an EV in our future, in fact all those who posts all the negative will probably own an EV also. And two or three years from now also works out good for me, who knows where the battery technology will have advanced in three years? Or how many mor companies would be offering EVs in Thailand.
  6. Yea I do also, but in a pinch tortillas work. I had kids oner the other day, and quickly made them some and they loved it, Pizza dough takes a couple of risings and an overnight in the refrig to develop taste. I have a kitchenaid stand mixer and I actually make my own bread, IMO bread for sale here in Thailand leves a lot to be desired. 4 cups of bread water 2 cups of water , Yeast , salt, and I like fennel seeds. in the stand mixer for 5 min, Let it rise a couple of time, Preheat oven to 450 , with cast iron dutch oven in it ( I like to Use a dutch oven because it distributes the heat evenly. Bake 45 min. Eat what I eat , slice the rest and freeze. Place in the airfryer for 10 minutes and it tastes like it was Just baked. I have not bought bread in Years.
  7. Thank you for that, what do you marinate the chicken in,do you use white , or dark meat, and a list ot a link on how to make the seasoning mix would be appreciated, I have never made it from scratch. But love it. I would share a sacrilege with you. Sometimes I use use those large flour tortillas to make thin crust pizza. It is actually not bad.
  8. For those who are collinearly challenged like like Will Be Good, or those who don't have time boiling all the time, I suggest boiling a big batch of water and freezing it for future use
  9. Here in Thailand? I used to love them back in the US, in fact whenever I would go to a Mex restaurant I always orde chicken fajitas. I use to buy Fajita mix in a McCormac pouch , but I have never seen it here, Do you make your own mix?
  10. Thank you for that Unless you really read the label well , you would never know they were pastry dough. I will get some later today. So many different things you can make with them. Wife found fillo dough for me on Shopee It comes all rolled up, without unrolling it , I cut five inches and the rest I use vacuumed food saver to seal it and freeze it for future use. when you roll out the section you cut you get strips 5" wide and I would say 12" long, You only need two or three of those sheets of fillo dough . (usually there are about a dozen very think sheets) you can either spray olive oil on them or brush melted butter, you place what ever filling you want at one end and then you start folding, corner to corner, Like folding a flag. Which is why you only need 2-3 layer strips. because by the time you are done folding you have several layers. The picture below is not mine, I could not readily find one of mine (just to picture what I mean)
  11. Judging from the content of this thread , I would say that sad emojis are not the only indication of the intelligence level of the current clientele of this forum. LOL 17 of them consider it witty to respond with a confused emoji Hardy-har-har
  12. Those really look good and I have to say they look professionally made. Where in Makro did you find the Puff pastry squares ? was it by the bread? I have been looking for them . I am going to give them a try.
  13. You should have paid better attention Only learning a bit at school can have negative consequences that can carry through your whole life.

  19. So you only want goverment to meddle in the issues you are interested in, in all others they need to stay away from? I am not going to argues abortion rights with you, the subject has been done to death , No one is for abortion!! We are for choice with in pre-described limits.
  20. Salmon is always a good quick to go meal and it is always good. I like to buy the frozen salmon steaks with the center bone in it, Wife said she likes to buy the fresh salmon. I laugh and say is that the one they caught in the local lake yesterday? LOL
  21. Love my shrimps.but I am trying to control my cholesterol with diet and it's not working. Now that I think of it , I should go to the lab in the city and have my cholesterol checked.
  22. I guess the potatoes are the vegetables , Yea we do have the issue of being from different countries and using different terms By "top burner" I meant the oven. It has a bottom berner, and a top burner, I guess you might be right because you use the top burner to roast and grill. I bake with the bottom burner because the pan is between the food and the fire, preventing burning. Then after the chicken and potatoes have been cooked, I turn the top burner on to caramelize the potatoes and Chicken skin. You need to be careful and keep an eye when you have the top burner because it is easy to burn the food.
  23. So why don't you give us your 5 year old level of explanation? I love republicans, they want goverment out of our lives, except in the issues they are interested. . like our bedrooms, reproductive rights. end of life issues, sexuality. etc. Please post a link to your source of your quote .Or did you just made it up?
  24. First you need to consider that with country living , comes country living LOL Many of those very nice people live a subsistence existence with Chickens , roosters, barking dogs, and buffaloes . The good news is that after a while you tune them out and you don't even hear it. But it takes while. For country living near all that a large metropolitan area has to offer, Khon Kaen. Just outside the ring road. The city is arranged in a somewhat circular configuration , with roads almost like spokes on a wheel leading into the city , consequently , even though you are in a country setting . From our house. 3 minutes to the ring road, then to a road that connects to where you want to go. From our house we are 15 min to the airport, or Central plaza in the heart of the city.
