That would take an immense amount of resources, no chance of it happening. Though they could use remote sensing if strategically implemented. Yes the Police are so busy , and the army preparing for what , volunteers would do it for free, they waste so much money on projects that don't work , for years they have really done nothing to prevent this problem ,the folks up in the hills ,know they can set fires with impunity as there's no one out their to catch them , they must be proactive ,fiddling while the hills burn , and people get sick . regards worgeordie

I would much prefer that the Government would be proactive ,and actually stop the burning ,i know , I know , I have lived here long enough for that to not happen , what it's going to take is get Police ,Army ,volunteers out into the field ,road blocks, use drones ,catch a few arsonists ,and throw the book at them ,then people might realise that the Government is serious about stopping the burning ,as it effects peoples health ,tourist revenue , buying leaf blowers ,having machines spraying water in centre of Chiang Mai , is not good enough. regards worgeordie

The L and N are reversed here than say the UK , other countries I don't know . and the problem here the colour of wires does not seem to be standardized , seen a multitude of colours used here.....but in your case brown should be L and blue N regards worgeordie

i have had solar heating installed since 1990 ,when I first built the house ,i think it's best installed on a new build ,then you can have all the hot water pipes installed to all the sinks ,showers. It was quite expensive to install at the time ,plus it was an import from Australia ,called SolaHart , but well worth it ,to have hot water going to the showers sinks ,without having those electrical shower units ,don't know how many of those I have changed in our rental properties over the years. water and electricity not good friends.. It provides very hot water throughout the year ,except for maybe 2-3 days* in the cold spell when there is no Sun ,i would say it certainly paid for itself , and now there is a much bigger choice of cheaper stuff from China ,but don't know how well those work or how long they last ,but i believe SolarHart is still been sold in Thailand * You can have electrical heaters installed in them for times like that but I would rather have no electric going to it. regards worgeordie

Yes , I have always done it myself , and over the years it has just gotten easier , no more getting up at 4 in the morning to get ticket in queue , just book a time and roll up to IO , average time in last few years 1 -1.5 hours , the money I save is best spent on a dinner out than pay some agent.. regards worgeordie
