I buy Haddock ,salmon,Pollock , Sole from Alaska King on Shopee ,Frozen from Alaska and Norway ,I buy B 2600 and get free delivery always arrives frozen , very good no off smells I found some Cod and Pollock fillets in Makro ,processed in China , looked very good and were cheap , BUT , when you cooked them they shrank to size of Goldfish , don't know how they do that, living just about as far as you can get from the sea , is a problem for good sea fish . regards Worgeordie

I have watched programs on BBC about people who are on Social Security, dole wallahs , they are not afraid to say , I am not working , will get less money. big tv 's , Sky tv, smoking away, up to the eyes in debt , let them worry that's owed. that seems to be the problem Work ethic ,not all ,but in the mijority I think. Over the Covid where people were given money for not working ,my daughter had to work as deemed necessary work ,I said you are paying taxes so people don't have to work, and when this is over ,they will have to put up taxes to pay for all that, so you're getting screwed both ways. regards worgeordie

Never been back to UK for 35 years , reverse culture shock I would think, from what I hear from my daughter things are not good, so will not return, the only thing I really miss ,are the moors,fells,rivers & forests ,been able just to walk just about anywhere ,IF it's still the same. regards worgeordie

I doubt much seafood sold in Japanese restaurants here is actually from Japan , it would be too expensive and Thailand has plenty of its own seafood, Doubt they can actually treat the contaminated water ,well enough to be completely safe , so just throw it in the sea ,like everything else. regards worgeordie
