How does it matter? I thought it was a significant part of the commitment to your spouse - I promise to not have other sexual partners ("forsaking all others") and you do the same? Are you saying having good morals is its own reward?
My question was how it matters with regards to the issue here, which is a guy going bareback on prostitutes before going bareback on his wife. I don’t think a questionable statistic from a condom manufacturer would give anyone the right to put a loved one at such risk.

Where do you get those statistics from? And how does it matter anyway?

The bad: Incubation period seems to be up to two weeks but people are already infectious during that time.
The good: It seems only or mostly people in bad shape (elderly, immunodeficiencies etc.) seem to be affected seriously or deadly. From the 9 or so cases in Thailand, 5 or so have already been released from hospital and 3 of them were in the 70ish age range.

Can someone recommend probiotics, either supplements or specific foods? I ordered something from iHerbs and until then just eat more unsweetened Greek yoghurt.

Given your high risk behavior you really, really should get tested at the Red Cross Anonymous clinic. In addition to being of unquestionable honesty/accuracy they use a technique which will catch early infections. As a person is most infectious during the early period, before anibodies have formed, this is quite important.
You owe your wife this much at least.
it doesn’t sound like he’s staying in Bangkok for more than a couple of days. So even the TRC would not give him a conclusive result (at least not for the most recent encounter) because they do a 4th gen test (window period of 4-6 weeks) followed by mass testing using RNA (window period of 7-11 days), right?
But in general I agree, of course. The international hospitals also offer 4th gen as well as RNA tests. They’re more expensive though.

I might go there, but they are a bit out of the way and have longer queues.
I went there quite often — it never took me more than 15-20 in a queue, so all-in (incl. the 1 hour turnaround time and waiting in a queue before and after) it takes you 1.5-2 hours max.
Other than that, may I assume you would be okay if your wife had unprotected sex 3-4 times a year with some paid Isaan host boy?
I’m not going to claim that I never cheated. But you need to wake up. What if the worst case happened? Do you think your wife deserved that? Don’t be an <deleted> man. I know it’s difficult to resist. But you decided to be married to someone; you decided to make someone believe that you can be trusted. Be a man and make a decision what you actually want.

Still let's not forget that UK buys more products from the EU, than EU exports to UK.I’m still waiting for the first one who can actually explain why that is any relevant to the question of who has the more negotiating power in this trade deal. Zero relevant.

I wanna buy a barbecue grill for my terrace so I can invite people over for steaks and burgers. I honestly don’t have a clue what’s good; I hear people buy Weber grills but that they’re expensive. I don’t wanna break the bank since it’s something I’ll only do occasionally, but I’d still like to have something that’s decent.
Any recommendations?

Im wondering whether there’s any law that forces MEPs to actually be in Strasbourg and Brussels, or whether Widdecomb could have just stayed home.

During the Thaksin years overstay was never a problem, now all of a sudden, under the military government it is a problem.
Why is that?
1) It was always illegal.
2) Times change, not only in Thailand.- 2

Overstaying is a civil matter in most 'real' countries that have politicians running them
Also overstaying is a victimless crime. Mindless comparing it to paedopholia !
You didn’t answer my question. Who’s to decide what makes a severe crime and what the right punishment is? You?

There are a whole lot of scenarios that force people to overstay.
A lot of those are due to unscrupulous Thais
The only scenario I can see is being hospitalized or severely sick, for which I understand exist ways to extend the permit to stay to prevent overstaying.

Look up the meaning of the word “xenophobic” if you don’t understand it.

Wearing no underwear outside the house is a CRIMINAL offence.
Would you be happy to have a conviction over that?? Not every law broken is a heinous crime
So a person breaking laws is only considered a criminal when you find the crime heinous enough?

What burden? If your sign up year for TV is any indication, then that man has been here far longer than you and doesn't deserve your flap of the mouth flack.
So what’s the threshold of years in the country that gives such immunity? I really wanna know how long I need until I can start breaking laws without having to fear someone’s “flap of the mouth flack”

I just wish all other countries would initiate this anti exclusive work thing against only Thais in other countries.
I think it’s ok that every country is sovereign and can make their own laws.

Bit different, 71 year old guy with own money to a 20 year old Arab that sponges of the welfare or deals drugs and thieves.
I prefer a well-educated young Arab man who can contribute his skills to society and had to flee his country because of war over a 71 year old who apparently isn’t even able or willing to get the right visa. And if I was as xenophobic as you, I’d add that i don’t want 71 year old sexpats. Not that it matters.

Guy is the end of his life, clearly not well off , not a burden on society or government , most certainly not taking away any jobs or a criminal.
I’d rather think someone who is well off and not at the end of his life is not a burden. So let we both break the immigration laws?
(btw: He is a criminal. Read the article.)

Would be interesting know how many of those here who are defending this man’s crimes are the first ones to complain about immigration in their home countries and vote conservative or far-right parties.
This guy was staying in the country illegally for more than 10 years. He knew he was breaking the law.

Well yes, the E.U will prioritise the E.U single market and the U.K will prioritise its own market and they will discuss and negotiate .
Yes, and if they can’t find an agreement, 50% of the UK’s exports will be affected whereas only 7-8% of the EU’s export will be affected. Again, something that trade deficits don’t tell you.
