  1. So you have zero issues. Renew passport towards the end of this year and they'll do your new extension (it is not a new non-O) in the new passport, and make whatever references they want about your original visa, etc, .at the same time.
  2. In my opinion not but I can only compare with the NHS in the UK which costs nothing. I am paying 1000 per session with the doctor which can be anything from 15 to 45 minutes.
  3. A "marriage visa" is actually a "family visit visa" and it is a non-immigrant O. And you can work on it. Work is not allowed on a "retirement" (over 50) visa.
  4. At least the linked story actually managed to have pictures of the subject "swimwear".
  5. I'd stop worrying about 90 day reports, that's the least important thing. Check your dates properly and report back, then answer will be clear.
  6. I think that would be a very good idea. Your dates don't make much sense.
  7. How and when did you get an extension(?) until April 2026? That is 15 months from now. A standard retirement extension is 12.
  8. Sorry but actually what expires April 2026? You say "retirement visa" but actually what do you refer to?
  9. Your passport expires "next year", September 2026? So why did the IO tell you you needed a new one to renew 17 months beforehand? Edited as noted your intended renewal (extension?) is April 2026? What are your doing this year? Anyway, if you get the new passport before April 2026 then the extension will go in that - but it's not very clear what you actually have right now.
  10. Unless you consider Friday night to be part of the weekend. Also confirms what the original story stated.
  11. This story is to point out there is an upcoming election and a similar ban in place.
  12. You are correct that you cannot get THB account details (a/c number, etc.) within Wise. But you can certainly hold any amount in THB, converting to THB from your main balance when the rate suits you. Thereafter any THB purchases on your card use the THB balance.
  13. I use them regularly. Highly recommended.
  14. Yes, I believe they've put some planes in the air tethered to tall buildings to create the wind. Same people that push water upstream to avoid floods.
  15. And if you didn't already, when you do get the new license add it to the "DLT QR LICENCE" app on your phone. That works great and you'll always have it in case of future needs.
  16. Seems to me he wants to do a 90 day report cause he's been here 90 days. Are you saying he doesn't need to with a DTV?
  17. Top work! It's already clearing, although the wind may have had some impact today.
  18. It was the first report after being out of the country, so not a surprise.
  19. My guess is you'll be lucky to find any document/regulation where this is officially specified. However, given the timing, why not just go next week for the extension?
  20. I think they do work weekends. My recent online report was submitted on Saturday 9 November and rejected on Sunday 10 November.
  21. Indeed. The full test is easy but not without some special challenges. I did it last year. The theory test, multiple choice, ought to he a breeze. However, unlike many multiple choice exams there where there is only one correct answer, it is possible to face a question with 3 correct and 1 incorrect answer. After failing the first attempt the girl on duty told me yes, but you have to select the "most correct" answer. There are online training apps to teach you which is "correct", using logic will not be enough.
  22. You mean the locals attempts were not good enough?
  23. Bizarre. Don't forget your helmet on your motorbike.
