  1. If she's going back to UK of course, no problem. But while there why wouldn't she renew her passport? In any case yes she could of course return on her Thai passport but it would seem a good idea for her to get a new UK one whilst she is there to avoid issues on her next UK visit.
  2. No need to contact the embassy, you just need to apply for a non-O visit Thai family e-visa. There is no reason why you cannot apply using your Australian passport. You will need to demonstrate legal presence/residence in the UK at the time of application.
  3. Highly unlikely. How would anyone know he even had an Australian pension? I had a UK friend pass and the UK embassy did nothing about his pension which was paid into my bank account (another story). It was entirely up to me to stop them paying it.
  4. Of course they wouldn't, but it's the only way I'd ever be on one of their flights again. Hateful company.
  5. BA could introduce a free of charge "repatriation of remains" service. That I would sign up for. Otherwise I'll pass on them, never again (alive).
  6. Wow! It's quite a challenge, good luck! I got my yellow book some years back, I never even went to the amphur, my wife sorted everything with a copy of my passport, not certified, not translated, nothing more except....1 basket of that chicken essence stuff they seem to like - deal was done based on that alone I think!
  7. No. Because it isn't. It's a 1000 a night hotel.
  8. Absolutely, you'd never have to take a inter gate train at DXB would you?
  9. It's not that one. Its 319+VAT. Its 99GB full speed data, 30 days plus 99 minutes calls any network.
  10. I can confirm that you can apply any of their prepaid packs, most of which are far better than the one you quoted, I use 99GB full speed 30 days inc. calls, 319 baht + VAT.
  11. Thanks, yes, I thought it would be easy to do (funny they didn't mention it) but as said it's no issue for me as I just buy a data pack each month.
  12. I bought one of those several years ago and still use it. It can easily be extended past its initial 30 days. The only minor issue is the maximum validity you can extend to is 90 days - I did question them on this point and they just said that was the limit on their tourist SIM. Not an issue for me as I top up monthly in any case but if out of Thailand and not using it much you'll need to remember to top-up/extend every 90 days. And yes, it'll work in Germany, you can easily activate roaming through the Truemove app.
  13. Is there one?
  14. From this website.... https://airporthuahinbus.com/
  15. You can also get, and quite possibly you'll be asked for it, a 12 month statement from your bank. In case of Bangkok Bank you need to order that several days in advance, other banks can issue on the spot.
  16. Visa exempt gives you a 60 days entry. You need to convert to the non-O with at least 15 days of those remaining. I'd be inclined to do it around 30 days.
  17. The single non-O give you 90 days. The expectation is that you would apply for an annual extension in the last 30 or so of those. But if you want to leave and return in the preceding 60 days or so then yes you can get a re-entry permit.
  18. Which is fine. But this 300 baht is not for everyone, hence their dilemma.
  19. I am 100% sure. It is only required for an O-A visa. You don't want one of those.
  20. You can apply for a single entry non-O e-visa in Italy. You can show the money in your Thai account to get that. You do not need any insurance of any kind. Arrive in Thailand and get a 90 day entry and at the end of that go for an annual extension. You will not need to show the money came from outside Thailand. .Or otherwise you can arrive visa exempt and convert to the non-O in Thailand.
  21. I took Grab taxis to and from Mabprachan from Soi Diana over the weekend. Less than 200 baht each time. I didn't think that was expensive.
  22. Just tried it again, currently listening to Chelsea V Newcastle, accessed through the BBC Sport website.
  23. I just tried it on my phone with a Nord VPN UK connection. Works fine.
