  1. ....but in any case the information has to be entered in "English".
  2. Problem with an air-bounce is the airline will want to see an onward ticket when you check in for the return. A land bounce is best done as a trip organised by an agency or you'll likely need to spend a day or two in Laos/Cambodia and cannot be sure what you'll be asked for on return. As for the 20k, just take it, probably not needed but why not.
  3. Probably thought it was safer than leaving it in her hotel.
  4. One minute before immigration in fact - they have already said there will be provision on arrival for those that didn't already complete it.
  5. Methinks the headline is wrong again. "Not sooner than 3 days" would be more accurate.
  6. Same with True now. Never used to be the case. But now your registered name can be found on the app, even with a prepaid SIM.
  7. Good beer and good bread. Worth the effort of checking your passport on entry.
  8. It's actually still in use at most crossings in fact, only 8 land crossings (the busier ones) had it suspended.
  9. You mean you are still there now, still waiting?
  10. Yes it's in Chachoengsao. Happy memories many years ago stopped there after getting married for a celebration lunch in KFC. Nowadays it always seems so packed I'd avoid it unless absolutely desperate.
  11. Maybe so, but my bank alerted to to the discrepancy and True fixed it.
  12. Why? The only thing that gets "approved" is simply that you have entered information in the form correctly. Nothing is checked or verified. And as has been stated if it is not done in advance there will be a facility to do it on arrival.
  13. I would guess that until Immigration remove the Embassy letter as an acceptable "proof" of income there will not be an answer to the question. The Embassy cannot verify what is stated, and Immigration has no chance whatsoever to do so. They should simply delete that option. Several Embassies have already stopped providing the letters as they cannot verify the information, seems the sensible way to go.
  14. I think you are 100% right, but most using Embassy letters don't have them.
  15. But did you actually try the address they suggest, not the "no-reply" one they send to you. BangkokHMPO(at)vfshelpline.com
  16. I just tried, also cannot create a new account, but can log in my original one. Who did you email, they suggest here; BangkokHMPO(at)vfshelpline.com
  17. Presumably the counter-signatory completed and signed section 10? From what I can see the copy of the counter-signatories passport does not need to be signed. So presumably they can simply email it to you and you can print it.
  18. Lao visa on arrival had date of issue on it. Entry stamp is a different thing.
  19. Although no direct experience with them, there are a number of services offering this. Here's one as an example; https://updoc.co.uk/medical-letters/certificate-of-good-health-for-thailand-visa
