  1. What do this Road Safety Centre of the Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation actually do ? Making up the numbers ? Calculating the numbers ? Are the people making this numbers paid by the tax-payers ? Do they do anything to prevent accidents ? I have after 7 years in Thailand not seen any traffic safety improving action been done. The rtp sitting on their chairs do not help anybody.

  2. Do they not have any single bus-driver in Thailand capable of driving a bus full of passengers ? If not, they should stop all bus-traffic prompt. The government do not care, they are not doing anything to prevent accidents. It seems that it`s not a government duty. The government just do not GAF. Why do Thailand have a government ? They do not care about the people ???? Yingluck !!!!! Where are you and your caring government. ?????????????????????????????????

  3. Why do the not put the power lines underground ? As they do everywhere in the modern world. In Thailand it`s just a wonder that it works sometimes : 5555555555 The Thai do not know better, and they do not listening to anybody telling them how it`s done in the civilized world. ha, ha, ha, ha 5555

  4. Teh Thai law is wrong.

"Pol Capt Jamrun Plaiduang said, “We are prosecuting him as a drug dealer. We forwarded the case to the court long ago.

“No matter how much he denies it, nothing is going to work because we caught him with drugs. He can’t really escape from our hands.”

If he did not sell or not intended to sell, he`s not a dealer. The Thai hotentot laws are just hotentot laws. Banana kingdom.

If he was dealing drugs put him behind bars, but if he did not deal drugs put him behind bars for a shorter term. We has to be just here ????

  5. Buddah says ??????

The Thais are reportedly from Bangkok and connected to influential Thai figures.

Connected to influential Thai figures, does that mean they will escape the Myanmar justice ?

Myanmar, please do not go in the same traps as Thailand have gone in all the time. If you, Myanmar wish to bee a third, or fourth world country. Mai pen rai.

It said so far in three days of the seven dangerous days, a total of 161 people were killed and 1,640 others injured in 1,539 accident cases, compared with the first three days of last year’s 174 deaths and 1,526 injuries in 1,446 cases.

Education, education and education. Why is that so difficult to be understood by the rulers ? Not so important for them, I guess. All responsible for this should bee brought to court, maybe the Chineese style court, because they are betraying their people everyday, and people are dying everyday because of this.

  7. Thailand's biggest problem is not the Shinawatra mafia clan, cause you can use the courts to get rid of them. No, the main problem of this country is that there seems to be no alternative. Suthep has swallowed his whistle if what's written here is true! The only way forward is to reform police, the justice system, throw Thaksin in jail through Interpol and have new elections.

The first task should be to reform the police, but how ? Arrest all corrupt policemen ? Who can do this except of the armed forces ?

  8. " Mr. Suthep, "We will occupy Thailand so the sovereign power shall truly belong to the people"

"Mr. Suthep elaborated further that he would then install himself as the "Sovereign Body" who will wield absolute power via numerous "Revolutionary Decrees" and adoption of a single charter provision as a legislative blank cheque - in the same manner of military dictators in 1960s, such as the notorious Field Marshal Sarit Thanarat.

"We will have something like Article 17 [of 1959 Administrative Charter] as the highest law," Mr. Suthep said, referring to the charter article which allowed Field Marshal Sarit to fight suspected Communist threats by all means, " will be able to order anyone to be executed by firing squad, but I will only freeze assets".

He continued, "As a Sovereign Body who has seized power, I will have the power to appoint Prime Minister and Cabinet members at my own discretion. Then I will present this list to His Majesty the King, so that he can approve them as the People's Government"." Somebody has to bring this lunitac to a hospital as soon as possible. He really belives hes a guy of same caliber as herr Adolf Hitler.

  9. The Thais are natural born drivers and therefore they do not need to listening to what is done in other countries.

Nobody knows more about road safety than the Thais.

The Thai police are probably the only police corps in the whole world that know driving with lights turned on is unsafe, they order the lights shut off if they see it.

The rest of the world should look to Thailand to learn how road safety should be tackled.clap2.gif

  10. This is great news, i wish all suspects that carry illegal firearms and commit crimes were apprehended and incarcerated as quickly.

Unlike in the news recently of the celebrity who was released on bail after being found guilty of murder in one of the most open and shut cases ever, or politicians, army, other hi so persons who are never found guilty or apprehended for anything. (TS aside that is)

Are anybody carrying legal firearms in public places here ?
