  1. Not visa or extension related. Moved to the Business and Banking forum.
  2. You be extending the permit to stay you got from the ED visa when you used it to enter the country. You need to have a letter from the school to cancel you current extension and then apply for a extension based upon working. You would need to check with immigration office about doing. Some offices may state you cannot change the extension for attending a school to one for working.
  3. You have to leave the country on the day your extension is canceled at immigration. You could go to immigration a few days before the date shown on a a letter from the school to have you extension canceled and they will post date the cancelation to that day. You could just leave the country without a re-entry permit that would end your extension.
  4. Did you apply for a non-o visa that allowed a 90 days stay and/or a one year extension of stay based upon retirement? No change to the 90 day reporting. Since it is your first one you will have to it in person by completing a TM47 form. You will use a TM8 form to apply for a re-entry permit.
  5. You could go the Cambodia border to get a new 45 day visa exempt entry. Ban Pakard is the nearest one. There are companies doing the run to there.
  6. You could work again but you might be question about your previous extension not being canceled. They started doing that due to many people leaving without informing their employer.
  7. To avoid needing another tourist visa you could get a multiple entry tourist visa (METV) so all you have to do is a border hop to get a new 60 day entry.
  8. You can leave the country without canceling your extension since it will end when you leave the country. It could be a problem if you want to get another extension for working or teaching since some office have wanted a termination letter from your previous employer to apply for one. No big problem to not cancel your work permit unless you want to work here again.
  9. If you get a multiple entry non-o visa you have leave the country every 90 days to get a new 90 day stay. You can apply for a one year extension of stay by showing financial proof and the apply for a new one every year.
  10. No insurance will be required. If applying for the non-o visa at a embassy the financial requirement can vary for one embassy to another. If you apply for a 90 day non-o visa at immigration it will require 800k baht in a Thai bank on the day your apply for proof of 65k baht income.
  11. You entered with a re-entry permit that kept your extension of stay valid to the day it expires. 1. You can extend your current extension of stay for another year without needing a new non-o visa. And get a new re-entry permit. 2. No need for another TM30 report.
  12. A Non-OA visa can only be issued at a embassy or consulate in your home country or country of legal residence. A OA visa allows a allows a one year entry for 1 year from the day it is issued. A Non-O visa is can be issued at embassy or at immigration and only allows 90 day stay,
  13. Since June of 2020 a new TM30 report is not required when enter the country with a re-entry. I would only be needed if you enter with a new visa. Also not needed if you travel within the country. A yellow house book does not exempt you doing a TM30 report.
  14. A non-o visa is issued for many reasons. Retirement, marriage to or the parent of a Thai, family members of a person on a extension, the parent of a child attend ding and etc.
  15. You will need to be enrolled in school to get the non-ed visa and then a extension of stay based upon attending a school. For a language school you would have to apply for 90 day extension and provide proof you are attending classes.
  16. Doing a border run to get a visa exempt entry may be your best option since the 60 day extension will give you enough time. There is no 30 day extension you can apply for. A extension based upon marriage to a Thai requires no insurance to do the application.
  17. You would apply for it at the border before entering Laos at Chong Mek. As some crossings you can get a Lao visa online to use for entry. See: https://laoevisa.gov.la/index
  18. It is possible that the IP address in India is blocked due to it being one used by spammers.
  19. You have to apply for a visa on arrival for Laos. About $40 at this time.
  20. It is not a education visa or extension you would be applying for. You apply for the extension based upon being the parent of child that is attending school. From the immigration website. See number 11 here: https://www.immigration.go.th/en/?page_id=1890 You cannot apply for the non-o visa needed for it at immigration. You will have to apply for it at nearby embassy or consulate. See this on the Vientiane embassy website. https://vientiane.thaiembassy.org/non-o-visa/ "Dependent of a visa holder working or studying in Thailand"
  21. You apparently are asking about getting a non-o visa and extension of stay based upon being the parent of a child attending school. You should be able to apply for the extension of stay with the current non-f visa or extension of stay at immigration. That type of non-o visa does not appear on the list for changing visas on the immigration website. You could get the visa at the embassy Vientiane or the consulate Savannakhet Laos.
  22. Yes you can. See: https://savannakhet.thaiembassy.org/th/publicservice/non-immigrant-visa-o-visa-retirement-in-thailand?page=5d84a44c15e39c26b400453e&menu=5d84a44c15e39c26b400453f
  23. It is not on the holiday list that is on the Savannakhet consulate website. Open the link I posted.
