Marriage extension-additional documents?
ubonjoe replied to sanook 1's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Immigration will give you the conditions for a extension of stay that is a STM2 and the overstay rules for overstay. The other one is affidavit that immigration will give your wife to complete and then both of you sign it in front of the immigration officer. -

Imm-O retirement extension two questions.

That depends upon the office where it is applied for. I am sure 3 months would be accepted at most office. It does not have to be for 12 months. -

ubonjoe replied to zenplay's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Some would do it that early if you show them you have flight out the country. Normal is up to 30 days before at some office and others 45 days. -
Re-entry permit form for non-O visa
ubonjoe replied to Mick 1's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
The departure and retune dates are not important and some office will accept the form without them being completed. The dates are not on the re-entry permit stamp. -

ubonjoe replied to jil's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
They will want hard copy of it at Lao immigration at the Vientiane side of the bridge. Not sure where you could print it out. I think you could find a place to do to close to the bridge in Nong Khai.- 1 reply

90 day Thailand Trip with Thai Wife
ubonjoe replied to madisongy's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
It is suggested to apply for the visa at least 15 days before your departure date. That would be to apply for a one year extension of stay applied for at immigration to do it within 30 days after you enter the country with a non-o visa. For a visa application the will want to see ticket to here. There is not need show a return ticket. Your best option is to enter the country visa exempt and apply the 60 day extension to visit your wife. But immigration may want you to apply for the 30 day extension first. -

You can apply for a 30 day extension of the 45 day stay form a visa exempt entry. You can also apply for a 60 day extension to visit your wife. You could apply for a single entry non-o visa based upon marriage to a Thai at a embassy or consulate. In the US they use the e visa site to do the application. https://thaievisa.go.th/ -

ubonjoe replied to Mick 1's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
You use this TM8 form. Fillable TM8 re-entry permit form.pdf It and others can be found in the pinned topic for titled immigration templates. -
The parking area you mentioned is open according to earlier reports. Monday and Thursday probably is the busiest days. Next Monday is a Thai holiday it is not shown on the consulates list. First time Applicant for Retirement Visa
ubonjoe replied to Rovering's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
The 800k baht only has to be in the bank on the day you apply for the non-o visa at immigration. You will be using a TM87 form for the application and the fee is 2000 baht. See: https://www.immigration.go.th/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/9.FOR-RETIREMENT-PURPOSES-50-YEARS-OLD-NON-O.pdf Most of what you posted is for a one year extension of stay based upon retirement near the end of the 90 days stay you will get from the non-o visa. -
Was refused to leave Thailand
ubonjoe replied to Hellfire's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
You could of applied for a extension for medical treatment instead of going on a overstay. You would need a medical certificate from a doctor or a hospital stating you are unable to travel. -
