  1. I have merged the 2 topics about the 7162/7161 forms on this subforum into one.
  2. A TM30 report is not required for travel within the country. You only need to do one is if you are going to be doing something at immigration to change your address.
  3. You quoted your own post. Clicking any of them takes you to this page https://penang.thaiembassy.org/ that is home page. The site is broken.
  4. I don't think it matters where you get married. Just wrong info from the embassy. Moved to the Marriage and Divorce forum.
  5. If you click any of visa requirements it takes you to the homepage of the Penang site.
  6. It is done at the border or you can apply online for a few crossings. Only 2 of them the in east accept the the e visa. See: https://www.evisa.gov.kh/home
  7. You will need to apply for a visa on arrival to enter Cambodia.
  8. Yes They mention the $200 fee for a multiple entry non-o visa on the page I posted a link for earlier. You will need to make a appointment to do the application. Link:https://booking.setmore.com/scheduleappointment/f8af2588-daa5-4e23-9bea-6b35c5e06758
  9. The multiple entry non-o visa requires you to leave the country every 90 days. But as I wrote you can apply for a 60 day extension to visit you wife for each 90 day stay from it.
  10. As others have said the payment is not required until the Elite visa application has been approved. Maybe the person you talked to did not really know what the requirements are.
  11. Are you asking a question? The letter can be in Thai or English. Certified means signed by your wife for both the above.
  12. That is not really a new requirement if staying in a private residence.
  13. You have 7 days to do the 90 day report that can include the report date without being fined 2000 baht for a late report.
  14. The embassy or consulate where you apply for the non-o might question you as to why you are getting back to back single entry non-o visas. Best to apply for a multiple entry non-o visa that allows unlimited entries for a year from the date of issue. You can apply for a 60 day extension to visit your wife of each 90 day entry from the non-o visa.
  15. 1. and 2. No You will need to show 20k baht in a bank. See: https://hochiminh.thaiembassy.org/en/publicservice/non-immigrant-o-accompanying-thai-spouse-and-family-members?page=5d80ab3315e39c2fe800a791&menu=5d80ab3215e39c2fe800a722 3. It is a good choice. But it depends upon whether you want a single entry or multiple entry non-o visa. The consulate in Savannakhet Laos will issue a multiple entry visa. Vientiane a single entry non-o visa. Penang Malaysia would do them before as well but I have seen no recent reports about them since covid 19 started. 4. No
  16. The first page that shows the house number on it and the page your wife's name is on.
  17. Who gave you that info. For a non-o visa or extension of stay applied for at immigration you need 400k baht in a Thai bank account. There is not requirement for it to be a fixed deposit account. For a non-o visa application at immigration they will not accept 40k baht being transferred into a Thai bank bank. They only allow the proof of income from a embassy.
  18. Since this topic has turned in a bickering session like many others about the same topic it is now closed.
  19. Here is my list of requirements for a extension based upon marriage. Marriage Extension Requirements 2.pdf
  20. I assume your currently have a extension of stay based upon retirement and want to change to one based upon marriage to a Thai. You only need 40k baht of income for a extension based upon marriage. Unless you can get proof of your income from you embassy you will need proof of at least 40k baht transfers from abroad into a Thai bank for 12 months.
  21. i complete everything except for the stay visa expire line.
  22. I think I would try again. On the new reporting site there is no where to enter your visa category. Also only completed the required entries marked with a red asterick.
  23. They were still wrong. Was that a agent for them or did that come from the Thai Elite main office.
  24. Somebody gave you incorrect info. You do not have to pay for it until it is approved.
